Love this idea!! Have written off my eyeshadow collection as something that I know is money sitting on a shelf, but I like to apply this thought to other makeup items so that they don’t just sit in drawers and go unused! Actually making yourself see the money value in something really helps us not go overboard. And if your husband finds out, just tell him to look at my collection. 😂 It’s all about perspective.

I alleviate the guilt by remembering something I heard Sarah Rose say one time: basically, as soon as you buy something, it likely becomes waste because you likely won't finish it. Something like that anyway. Just use it while you can without the pressure to finish it!!
