sorry for the late response! but I am guessing you already have your certificate! it would be a week, if you sent the document right after your ceremony. just like what I did on this tutorial.

Great video brother. How long does it take to get citizenship after becoming an PR ??. I am at the last year for my degree.
To be eligible to become a Canadian citizen, you must:
be a permanent resident.
have lived in Canada for 3 out of the last 5 years.
have filed your taxes, if you need to.
pass a citizenship test.
prove your language skills.
these are the requirements from a website. but try to check out the cic.gc.ca for more info regarding this. Thank you brother!

How long you have wait for oath ceremony after passing test?
we took the test august 4, 2021, we received the invitation for invitation for oath taking november 5, 2021. so its about 3 months wait, again may varry according to situations.

with the officiant? yes you can. I never thought of that but definitely you can but the quality of the image is not that great.
I tried to take a screenshot when the immigration officer allowed but it did not work. And usually it is working. 🤔
I wish I had another camera ready.
You mentioned at the end of the video that if moved to another place or other province you have to provide the mailing address? You mean after u give your mailing address to the office/judge at the oath ceremony , can you still after that in replying to them with the signed document , in this email you can again change the mailing address on which they will mail you the certificate?
for example if you did your application in your previous address, and then during the waiting period you decided to move to a new place, then you have to update your address during the ceremony so that you can receive your canadian certificate to your new address.
there's a lot of numbers on the PR card....which one did you have to read out and how many digits?
the no. is located on top right corner of your card If I recall it correctly.
After how much time of you giving your citizenship test did you get the oath ceremony email?
we took our oath taking april, then we got the email I think by september, then we did the ceremony by november.

I sent 1 email for all the files. you, your husband, son all in one email.
I did my citizenship test test on November 25th heard from them as yet is it a long wait??
usually a week or 3. in our case it was 3 week when we got the invitation for citizenship oath taking
just check your email frequently.

Hi, the document after the ceremony, you have to sign it while you are in the rom with the clerk or you can do it after by yourself offline?, when they say scan it, can i also save it and just take a picture of it and send it?
you can do it by yourself after, or you can get along with the ceremony.

no, I did not do anything, I think it will automatically by updated. The only thing that you have to do now I believe is to apply for passport. I am currently doing the tutorial for passport application both adult and child.

I'm waiting for my ceremony but I have to travel in two months time..what if they call me within that time how will I get my documents to travel if I have to cut my PR card?..should I reschedule my appointment ( ceremony)?..
Sorry I have no idea as of the momment regarding this matter. I will try to research about it.
but it is best if you reschedule your appointment if you think you wont make it back to canada.

How long did it take After you the certificate for the passport
1 week before it was sent to us by a mail.

yes they will mail it to you within a week if you send the document back that same day.
@@herreraschannel8930 thanks for your reply, But my ONline account says waiting on you for the OATH taking so it is changed there but I haven't received the Notice email from them (LINK and all that) on my GMail, it been 3 -4 days and my oath-taking is on 2nd FEB but no email NOTICE. how many days after the online change did you get that Notice email. I am worried if they forgot that.

It’s might just take a bit of time , we did our oath on the 23 rd still waiting for the certificate when some people got it after 5 days it’s just a matter of time .Good luck

@@silveryrealm search your email type in IRCC or CITIZENSHIP on the search box in your inbox maybe it is burried and you missed the email.
Did they sent you a passport with your certificate?
no password for the certificate as it is sent by mail. but they will send your a log in link and password to zoom when you do the oath taking.
Hi, they give citizenship card with your picture now? Or only certificate?
only certificate they will issue. not card, get a passport if you want a proof of canadian citizenship. That's what we did.

With rules now changing I'm not sure if they changed it to direct now. You might have to call them for accurate answer.
