I think she was improved but overall a solid character. The lockpick alone makes her useful in all scenarios plus she has decent HP , speed and can potshot. Her most noticeable downside between games was that her back step sucked in 1 but thankfully was improved a bit in 2

I got to admit that Alyssa, next to Kevin, is my secondary favorite character of the Outbreak cast. That would be because I am a journalist major. What's also unique about her is that she can pick locks. But in real life I wouldn't date someone like her. Just simply because I'm not into blondes, I'd be interested in someone that looks more like Ada, Fong Ling (from Dead Aim), or even Yoko (also my third favorite in the game).

@@SairentoZ7 yeah exactly. Even in the Underbelly scenario, when you were inserting the code for the locker, zombies just came in, walked in circle and then all walked out totally ignoring you, they don't do that in my case :(
@@abysswalker1282 That is a exploit that was part of the game's mechanic. So you use that to your advantage to drop enemy aggro. However, it doesn't work on every enemy.
@@SairentoZ7 i'll need to try it again when possible, but i can definitely remember that i never had time to read files or inserting codes with even regular zombies around, they always go after me no matter what.

the new master of unlocking: Alyssa
All those looked doors on the hardest difficulty is the only reason I feel Alyssa shines a bit more in this game. She was so bad on the first one.
As a AI she sucks at this one. She doesn't follow or help you at all, kinda remind David's behavior on first one.

You'll need to clear all five story scenarios on the "Hard" difficulty, which will unlock the option to turn off the AIPCs.

I think they mean the Backstep which Alyssa does in this game. It's a big improvement of it from the first game.
