- I’ll love you forever, sweet Bluebell.
I purposefully did not talk about Bluebell’s illness in this video, as I wanted it to be a positive video celebrating her life. Those who don’t follow my instagram still want to know what happened, so I copied and pasted this directly from my Instagram.
“For those who may not know Bluebell passed away on 10/13/2022 from multiple infections she couldn’t fight off (respiratory and yeast). She was 9 years old and had fatty liver disease which made her immune system compromised. I had no idea her infections were this bad until her sudden decline the night before. She had already been on the right treatment for three weeks but unfortunately did not respond. Up until the end, she showed minimal symptoms and I thought she was clear. She actually had her recheck scheduled for Saturday. It just shows how even very sick birds will hide their illness the best they can. She was rushed to the vet the following morning of her decline and they took her in for hospitalization to give her syringe feedings and oxygen. When she stopped eating I knew it was serious as she has never done that even when she was sick before.”

Rest In Peace bluebell I loved him reminded me of my blue Budgie I remember the days he would come out of his cage and fly around and eat food and he sometimes fell asleep in my lap I sadly had to sell him since all my budgies got A virus and got someone in my family sick I miss them a lot.

I’m so sorry. My budgie died a few days ago it’s the saddest thing to happen. Our feathery friends are hopefully in a better place now.❤️

My budgies Easter and Christmas both died on the 26th of September this year too.. I know how you feel ElleAndTheBirds
I am so sorry for your loss. We bought a beautiful blue budgie home Friday 14 October 2022. On Sunday 23 October his voice became hoarse. We went to the vet and they suspected a lung infection. We were on antibiotics and anti-inflammatories. But he was to weak to fight off the infection. On Wednesday 26 October 2022 before I went to work he just wanted to sit in my hand and be cuddled. We would have had a check-up the Friday. When I got home, he had sadly passed away. Up until the end he was eating and quite active except for that Wedneday morning when he just wanted to be with me. I believe Louis was saying goodbye. I hope you find joy in all the beautiful moments you shared with your feathered baby!

It is terribly sad how short budgie’s lifespans are, but just remember that even though their life is short to the average person to the budgie you gave them an entire life of joy and prosperity.
Bluebell was a very lucky bird to have you in her life. How fortunate she was to have the best quality of life from a incredibly devoted ornithophile such as yourself! Thank you for teaching us to be better bird parents, and I am deeply sorry for your loss. RIP Bluebell🐦💙🔔

I literally cried….
I used to be obsessed with birds and i loved watching your channel and all your cuties. Bluebell must've been a a really special baby for you… All these years she stayed by your side and made us laugh with her head bops and pranks… I loved her just the way you did, even if i never even got the chance to meet her. She was such a cutie and i just can't process that she is gone… it is so sad😖😖😖

On her last day, i think she was rethinking all the good times you had with her and that was heartbreaking…..

I know I’m late and you probably won’t see this but I just wanted to put it out there. I cant imagine the hurt you’ve gone/going through with the loss of your baby. In April i adopted my first bird, a lutino cockatiel named Tiki, he is my everything and I can’t stand being away from him. Your videos educated me and prepared me for what was to come. I pray you know she is in a good place and got lucky with the best bird mom ever.for a while things will suck but I have no doubt that soon you will look back with smiles as you think about all the adventures you had with this bird. It is terrible she had to go through that pain but I know for certain that she knew her momma did her best and loved more than words can tell. Take it slow and don’t feel the need to upload. Take care love 💗

Bluebell reminds me of my first budgie, Dinky who lived to be 9. Also of the last budgie I had, Farley, who was female like Bluebell. She died of a tumor at about age 5.

Nooo! Rest in peace Bluebell... I lost a parrot too. His name was Pepsi. He was a cockatiel and I loved him very much. I wish I had more time with him. It was 2020 when I got him. He died in October/November 2022 just when we were bonding and he started to eat from my hand. He was a bird that didint trust anyone, just his brother Sprite. I rescued him and Sprite from a pet store. I think he had a nice life with me and my other parrot. It hurts, I know. But it's gonna be ok. To everyone out there. Take care of your bird. It deserves love and your time. Wish I could see him one more time... Rest in peace beloved Bluebell and Pepsi... I love you both till the end.

I am so sorry to hear about Bluebell. I’ve been watching your channel since I first wanted a bird in 2019. When I saw the title I got tears in my eyes. She was an adorable little budgie, and I know she enjoyed her life with you. I’ve also dealt with the death of a pet recently. One of my little mice Maple passed away a few weeks ago, so I completely understand how you feel. It’s very hard to say goodbye when you become so attached to them Rest in peace Bluebell. I'm so sorry for your loss. Bluebell lived a wonderful life with an amazing bird mom! I sympathize very much with you as I just lost my quaker parrot, Freddie after 17 and a half years incredible years of companionship and love. Birds are created with so much beauty inside and out. I know we will always cherish the beautiful memories of our feathered companions. Rest in peace Bluebell and Freddie!
