Hello again , thank you for being here. If you have any comments or questions about these or other air purifiers , leave me a comment ⬇, and we will answer them. Thanks again
I just bought 2 Levoit core 300- p series. I still have them in the box have not set them up yet what do you think of that model each or four small bedrooms
Thanks for providing us with detailed information on the sleep mode now. Hopefully, in the future, we will also have the data for how quickly it will clean the room using sleep mode!😊
It wouldn't matter if it's HEPA or not HEPA grade as it seems the ones Levoit uses. Non-HEPA grade would actually be quicker at removing tiny particles from a wood burning stove
Google says you have better airflow since you filter larger particles only, which increases purifying speed. But it depends on your requirement. If you want bacteria, viruses and mold spores to be filtered, you won't be happy with the airflow advantage of a non-hepa filter which would for example only collect bigger particles like dust or pollen.
As what@@dinowuffwuff said, lower grade of HEPA will allow more airflow. The grading is based on a single pass of air so whilst a lower grade will collect less in one pass, each time the air passes the filter more particles will be collected even the smallest of particles like bacteria and viruses. A good article on this topic is here: itsairborne.com/hepa-filters-are-not-needed-67e952792481 Let me know need more detail and thank you Dinowuffwuff for helping to answer!
Thanks for the info! I believe it will filter out all the particles in the following passes if the filter is of high quality (at least near MERV 12 or 13), has this property, and can maintain these properties for a long time.
Great video! I'm planning to buy a new unit. We have a small room, can I buy a Vital 200s instead of the 100s? Is there any negative effect because I'm buying a bigger unit for smaller room. Thank you very much!
I would focus on those with a removable pre-filter for pet hair, as this will build up more with all the pet hair/dander. So avoid the cylindrical units like the Levoit Core series and go with the Vital series instead.
One of the team had one but I haven't personally tested but I believe it's just a Levoit Core 300 in grey, with a slightly different designed control panel and a pet filter as standard. Similar to the Core 300 it might be too underpowered for your space, what size room do you want to use it in?
Did some reviews on our site a while ago but not a video yet. I like this and use it in my basement studio : housefresh.com/best-dehumidifiers-we-tested/
So is any of those filters TrueHEPA? Amazon still lists all of them (Levoit) as HEPA filters. I need a unit specifically for filtering mold spores. I ordered the Vital 200s but if it's not a TrueHEPA filter it won't catch the spores or?
Looking at Levoit.com they don't mention HEPA on their marketing materials anymore which would make me think they don't have HEPA grade filters. But even non-HEPA grade filters will be able to remove spores as the grade of the HEPA is just passed on a single pass of air, but air purifiers will pass the air through the filters many times. So whilst its a bad look for Levoit the company, the Vital 200S is still a good air purifier at removing even the smallest of particles in a room.
I have tested the Winix Zero Se (its the special version sold in Costco.co.uk) and it did really well in our tests. I am hoping to get this review live in September but it's a very good unit especially for those in the UK who can't access the Winix 5500-2. Will look at getting the Zero pro but I also expect it's good but with extra CADR.
Are Dayette ap401/402 true Hepa air purifier as they claim? What are some official rating that can be checked to verify their claim? They are so cheap I am finding it hard to believe.
@@shamilbasayev99 yes try and find the fastest speed that won’t bother you. I do wish more devices would have more aggressive auto modes and many don’t kick in fully unless the air is really really bad .
@HouseFresh ok thanks. In your video you said its best to go bigger. So the 300s covers 100m2 and the zero compact 50m2. Would you still recommend the zero compact over the 300s? It's only a few pounds different price wise but the coverage half difference. Thanks
Everestair is the best. Besides the fake hepa grade filter they use unfortunately. I'd give it a 5 of 5. Not knowing what kind of filter it uses and charging $99.99 i give it a 2 out of 5. The unit is a month monster tho. Sucks they lied about filters
@@HouseFresh i cant post links apparently. search for "levoit 200s pro kaufland" only 1 piece available. was available at otto de yesterday. not anymore. @@HouseFresh Levoit-Support replied to my email: We would like to explain to you that Vital 200S Pro is the gray version of Vital 200S and there is no performance difference with Vital 200S, the only difference between them is that it is only sold in stores/through below the line channels.
@@super-duper Interesting and a little confusing as pro is often used by other brands to show a higher performance. Thanks for taking the time to back to me and I will be sure to include this information in our web version review. 🙏

The 200s works just fine. Keeps my 440sq ft. bedroom air fresh at the lowest fan speed. Highly recommend. Helps with my allergies.
Thanks for taking time to let us know! Glad you found the 200s works for you!

Yes can add this to our testing process !
Just bought the Levoit vital 100s on Amazon Germany. Looking forward to it. Thank you for the review !!
Glad to hear and hope you get on well with to it. Thanks for letting me know!
I bought the Levoit 600s , 300s and 200s for my house, i love them all
@@Ciangi87 glad to hear your happy with them. A Levoit household 😁
Already have a levoit 200s thanks to this channel !
Hope it’s working well for you.
Would appreciate it if you could do the best mini air purifiers and some of us can’t have big ones in our room just small ones.
Working on this !
Hello, I just got a honey how good are they . runs quietly and has a loud turbo.
I think honey was a typo, let me know the model number and I will let you know if I have tested it.
Do these remove dust?
Yes any air purifier will do a good job with dust.
Hello, what would be best for a home with a wood burning stove? Would a HEPA filter be better?
It wouldn't matter if it's HEPA or not HEPA grade as it seems the ones Levoit uses. Non-HEPA grade would actually be quicker at removing tiny particles from a wood burning stove
Does 300s remove dust?
Yes will be able to remove the tiniest of particles as well as a gas and odors with the activated charcoal pellets.
How does a non-HEPA grade filter make a better air purifier? Can you please explain?

Thank you so much for the information, may i know what levoit version will you recommend if i have a cat at home and i sneeze a lot?
Depends on your room size but either the Vital 100S or 200S are good choices right now.
Any reviews on the Levoit LV-H132 for small bedrooms?
Reviewed this a few years ago and found it far less powerful than the Core 300 - housefresh.com/levoit-lv-h132-review/

No problem at all and in fact is what I recommend to most people - get bigger and run on lower fan speeds so quieter.
@@HouseFresh Thank you again! ❤️

Have you tested the Levoit P350? I'm looking for a purifier that is great for pets who sheds alot.

Comparing the levoit vital 200s vs the core 400s, which is best in your opinion?
I would choose the Vital 200S as I prefer removable pre-filter. But the 400S is a solid air purifier.
Do you review dehumidifiers?
Did some reviews on our site a while ago but not a video yet.

Thanks for your reviews! I'm going to order a Vital 200S based on your recommendation (using the affiliate link).

Should've mentioned the 300 mini too. Wow just made it to the end. Glad I avoided the mini and got the regular 300

I've recently got a 300s. Seems to work well but gives me a headache and I can't figure out why
Strange maybe your device has a problem. I would reach out to Levoit and see if you can have it replaced.

You can check to if a CADR report exists on the Emergystar website. I will have a Quick Look and see.
It has a dust CADR of 205 cfm which isn't incredible for that price. You can get 243 cfm with something like the Winix 5500-2 which is cheaper.
Thanks bro im very pleased with my vital 100s
A solid choice 💪

In the uk the 100s is pricey at £170. I might go for the 300s at £122
I would also look at the Winix Zero compact if you want to save money but lose app support. I wish Levoit would bring the vital 200S to the UK.
