@@WelshFGC sharon isn't just immortal shes completely invincible and indestructible. fully resistant to everything, including all forms of reality warping and time manipulation. Because of a bug in the backyard data that describes her, nothing can affect her negatively in any way which was confirmed by I-no as well. It will just reset back to her being completely fine and unscathed. But aside from being able to regenerate back to perfect condition after being completely drained of blood or killed with parasites or time manipulation. Or literally anything else. she can also just choose to not even be affected by anything to start with rather than regenerate after the fact. And she can also emanate some kind of field of light that completely disintigrates everything it touches. So yeah i mean in theory she's human but her feats lore and statements blatantly put her above the rest of the GG verse. She is essentially a higher dimensional being compared to the rest of the GG verse since she is just completely unaffected by the laws of cause and effect of her own verse. Being outside the laws of cause of effect and unaffected by anything within her own verse i would scale her above anyone else in the GG verse and suggest that others should probably do the same. but, to be fair, if you want to take a more "destructive capacity" focused outlook on scaling you could definitely put dizzy, obviously justice and even most other characters ahead of Sharon. Although again none of those characters are outside of the laws of cause of effect and they also cant beat sharon, who is completely invincible, so it would be pretty contentious in that sense. Since arguably sharon could win any fight over the long term by just sitting around waiting for her opponents to die and being completely unaffected by everything. Or just slowly chipping away at their health and lifespan by doing chip damage with a black tech gun or etc. She basically has ways to win any fight, even if that way is just. Time passing. while nobody has anything that can affect her so yeah.

Super late but protip: Crank the difficulty down to "Beginner", it also affects Story mode. Also if you want to know more about Guilty Gear lore, check out the "WoolieVersus" channel, he has the best Guilty Gear lore videos.
I may be a bit late, but many characters in story mode are immune to certain attacks. In this case Ky was immune to all normal attacks, and only special attacks (the ones listed in the command list when you pause) could damage him.
