Mr katsuya Kobayashi . I heard his voice everywhere and everyday on TV and the radio in the 80’s-90’s.
His voice makes the whole album to a next level.

@@Shieychan47 yeah. I think it's both : Kamasami Kong and Katsuya Kobayashi. The two worked on Tatsuro Yamashita's "Come Along" albums and their voices are very similar

Was KIKI the *only* radio station in the entire *country* that played Japanese pop music in the 1980s and 1990s, particularly City Pop? I assume there had to be more stations on the West Coast, especially in Hawaii and California, with significantly larger Japanese and Japanese-American populations.
There was also KZOO Radio Station! Unfortunately, I do not know enough about other radio stations.
While I was program director there we were probably the only station in the entire country playing city pop. Prior to KIKI, I was playing city pop on my show on KKUA. Tatsuro Yamashita, Takanaka, and Matsutoya Yumining were regulars on my show.
