Your waters seem to be in much better conditions than ours.. very much humus because of overfertilizing the ground around them. And as such, they have low oxygen level. And the Baltic seems no better when it comes to pike, was world class pike fishing here in Blekinge in 90 and 00 but has gone way way down unfortunately. Now it's hard to catch from land, ten year back you could take upwards of 100 from land on a day.v

What strength line do u use. Cuz last time I set the hook with a frog I broke clean of
I used 80lb braid there..u meed heavy line to set the hook with frogs and to pull pike threw thick snags like lily pads 👊🎣
