After losing my first hybrid inverter via power surge from thunderstike and unable to fix it due to lack of spare parts and good electricians here in ABA --which lead me to resort to the use of separate charge controller and inverter, the questions I ask when buying anything solar system parts include
1) Affordability --of the part & its spare
2) Availability --of the part & its spare;
3) Durability &
4) Easily repaired by locals

The Fangpasum charge controller hardly goes bad unless a wrong connection is made.

I would want to answer this question this,way, all MPPT charge controller have different energy conversion efficiencies. So some will definitely do better than others.
