    I listened to your interview on perpetual chess, it was great. I hope this channel grows and becomes worthwhile to you because I really think it is one of the best. There is just honesty.

    Funny how this video aims to explain how to change the trend in a game and then casually gives the best explanation on how to play an endgame exchange down I’ve ever seen.
    Great stuff!

    Among the very best chess youtubers, and certainly my new favorite. Am not surprised at all that you're an educator. Makes total sense. Keep it up, these are gold! I will think about how you could improve them, but am hard pressed at the moment to think of anything that stands out as wanting.

    Hi Andras, just wanted to say I came across yourself on the perpetual chess podcast you did and so glad that i did! I am an adult learner, new enough to the game and find your teaching style perfect, just no nonsence and to the point, currently studying your chessable 1st course and looking forward to more from you, thanks and keep up the great work!

    Fantastic video, and a much-needed slap to the face. We amateurs are sadly obsessed with material. It’s a hard mindset to break. Slap slap!

    Great video. It's the reverse of one of the things I've noticed about myself, which is my inhibitions to change a plan when they foil it.

    Great video! I should definitely consider pawn or exchange sacrifices more often because such moves can cause so many problems. Especially since defending isn't as much fun as attacking and with these moves you can just force your opponent (who is up material wise) into a defending mindset.

    Rxc3!! and an important idea behind is changing the trend on the board, don't just stand there and let opponent keep hitting on your face. its something like boxing.

    Nice. It is the concept of Dorfman, if you are inferior you need to play dynamically. Material is not important anymore. 👏💪

    You mention having a rule to never move back in chess. Why?

    • @ChessCoachAndras
      @ChessCoachAndras  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because you are meant to go forward!:) That's where your targets are to be found. Imagine sieging a castle by moving away from it... Generally speaking below 2200 FIDE almost every backward moving move is a mistake/blunder.
      This said, there are no absolute rules in chess, everything has exceptions and this one does too.
