- For about 47 years, the Merida brand has been developing and producing a wide variety of bikes, and with the Big.Nine 8000 model, they have an XC and marathon hardtail mountain bike in their portfolio that is trimmed for racing. The 29-inch race bike from the model year 2023 with high-quality and modern designed carbon frame and the noble component equipment is predestined for a world of mtb channel Dreambuild video.
We had the exclusive opportunity to build the team bike of Hannah Beck, who races for the B&W bike.cases Merida team.
The Big.Nine 8000 impresses with an absolutely modern geometry. The cables routed internally in the frame underline the clean look of the bike, the possibility of a Vario seatpost with internally routed cable routing can be retrofitted, is an ingenious detail. The race bike from Hannah Beck impresses with the following equipment such as a SR Suntour Axon suspension fork, a Sram XX1 Eagle shifting group, Sram Level Ultimate disc brakes. The wheelset, built exclusively by Radsporttechnik Müller, features Newmen hubs as well as M-Race carbon rims. Michelin Force XC2 tires provide optimal grip as well as low rolling resistance on XC courses around the globe.

ist das ne spezielle paste oder normales fett für die lenkerschellen ?
Das ist Carbon Paste.
genau, die Carbonpaste erhöht die Reibung um damit man mit weniger Klemmkraft auskommt. Der Schmolke Lenker ist schon sehr dünn, da sollte man auf das richtige Drehmoment achten damit man ihn nicht beschädigt.

Eine Suntour Gabel??? Gehts noch! Das soll einer verstehen. Die machen vielleicht gute Gabeln, aber keine sehr guten.

merida made frame weight less 900 g. why this?
did you actually see the frame on the scale? quite a lot depends on size and what you count to the frame... we left the dropout on the frame and the liners are still in the frame which should add about 40-50g
Merida 2024 frame brings nothing new in terms of weight. My Merida Big Nine Team 29” from 2014 weighs 1029 and they were sold with a metallic sticker saying “certified weight” from Merida itself.

@@worldofmtb üblicherweise haben die chinaschrott, das image bekommen sie auch nicht weg eben weil sie hauptsächlich SCHROTT verkaufen ;-)
