You sing its glory because only its structure you get..otherwise there were two more universities near to Nalanda , including odantpuri standing north to Nalanda which was getting kg bigger patronage than Nalanda and was dearest to Pala kings…today you can’t find a single pillar of that.

The buildings and material forms of Nalanda are destroyed but the knowledge of ancient Indian thought or Nalanda Tradition has been preserve in Tibetan language. Today, one of four commitment of The 14th Dalai lama is to pay back or restorate whole knowledge system of Ancient India to India itself.
