@@Soridan process text as colour rather than shapes along a continuous line. Its like saying chess is 2d because it doesnt actually use the third dimension for any reason besides it being impossible to make a real object that isnt 3d

@@Soridan if youre being that pedantic text is usually 3d because while paper is thin it does actually have a thickness value. There is information that can be defined without using up dimmensional space such as what material an object is made out of and you could either represent the alphabet in that way or as varrying 1 dimmensional shapes. Chess can be considered a 2d game because it works without a 3rd dimension in the same way written text doesnt need a 2nd
