  • This basic video I made due to this Mini Me Dolce Gusto not dispensing water hot/cold although there are sounds. I refer to another youtube channel (link below) to know that the water pump can be dismantled and serviced. You may not find much inside but probably the dismantling will help loosen some stuck parts. Happy DIYing and sorry for the basic, long and boring video.

The small threaded plastic plug pushes the spring that pushed the little black valve. I belive that the plastic plug is not supposed to be screwed tight, because it makes the black rubber valva to shut completely.

i know which part you are referring to. I can't remember if I screwed it on to the max or not. Recently, in another video, I also opened the pump and applied the same way to see if I could fix the issue. It didn't work sadly but after letting the pump run a while, After removing the tank, I just dropped water to where the tank plugs into the machine. After a while the machine slowly took the water in and now my other machine is working. Air locked somewhere beyond the pump perhaps?

Great video! My Mini Me has low pressure - is slow to dispense water. I will give this a try and return to let you know if it was successful.

I opened the pump, checked everything and put it back in. It didn't change anything in terms of water volume or pressure. Still takes 50 seconds just for an espresso at 2nd bar. There were rusted parts inside the pump, maybe this is the cause? Also, the metal piece that is on the inner side of the electric part of the pump, is free and not glued. I didn't want to do anything to not damage it further.
I assume it's either the pump and the issues I mentioned, or the control board not providing the correct power output.

I fixed it! Had to change the o-ring of the piston, and now it's as good as new. I followed these videos th-cam.com/video/GiboQpj0r8Q/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/Q0ax4a7ktnw/w-d-xo.html.
      Thank you as well!

You just disassembled and assembled if you have just tested the pump before like end of video it would have worked.
