On my list of ancients I'd add Gracus, we meet him in Ohn'aran Plains at the Shady Sanctuary, where he asks us to feed ducklings. Now in the emerald dream he's there again and there's a short questline where we help him pass on, and the now older ducklings are there along with other of his friends.

And while I know it technically wasn't an ancient, I did want to shout out the Protector (someday Ancient) you essentially raise in Felwood. It's just a fun little questline with a cute little sapling, who quickly grows, and ends with setting their roots in the very ground they sprouted from to someday protect Felwood. And if we live long enough, we might meet them again. 🥲
Ironically I don’t remember the name of my favorite ancient, or even where he resides. But one of my favorite memories in the game was my first ever character when I was like 9 was a night elf. Somewhere in the starting zone I saw an ancient walking around and saying dialogue and I was absolutely blown away that this game had treebeard!
I love the difference in lore and gameplay, hearing crendor talk about how truly god like these guys are and how they're one of the olded things in the world. And in wc3 it's just, yeah, 150 gold can make one, has around the same hp as a knight.
I was hoping to see either the Dolanaar ancient who wanders around that village or the little treant you raise in Felwood who will one day become an ancient. One that I was hoping that would at least get an honorable mention is the Ancient who makes it to Stormwind with you after the destruction of Teldrissil. He was at Olivia's Pond being healed by druids and at the time I was just grateful that one of them made it out.

Here is a fun wow bug: If your class has a tank spec. Go to the class order hall and switch to tank spec, hit the tanking dummy a few times and build up its “Uber strike” buff in doing so that training dummy can become the size of a literal building.
Im surprised you haven’t mentioned a single draenor ancient they are practically the opposite from Azeroths ancient‘s and are stuck in a perpetual war with the breakers just constantly fighting against Gronn Magnaron and other races related to the Breakers which is what the Orcs and Ogres are also apart of. And they are allied with the Botani and Genesour and together they just make war with Giant’s and monsters and it’s just pure chaos, it’s amazing!
Pointless Top 10 Books would be fun. Hard to find books for achievements, especially if their content has been retconned since they were put in the game!
thought no.1 would be Ancients of Felwood. The first time I pass through there, I thought, wow, what happened here. These huge tree people are they fighting? Are they protecting something? Afterwards, I did quests in Felwood many times, but, to be honest, I never figured out what happened there. Also fun fact about RU localisation. In Russian "Tree" translates as "Derevo" or "Drevo" and "Ancient" is translated as "Drevnii". So they translated those fellas as Dreven' which is hilarious imo... Pointless fact about Drevens!
Have you considered Pointless top 10 memorials? A lot of people have been immortalized in World Of Warcraft over the years, from game devs, to players, to celebrities, pets, and the like.
Imo the old ancient models were so much better. I can't shake the feeling that their head are out of place now, like you could pop it out if you do 3 turns to the left...

A lot of the time the Ancients seem like a kind of corollary or attachment to the Night Elves, which is kind of a shame, since they are even more ancient (no pun intended) than them. It would be cool to have some kind of faction or storyline for them specifically.
