The simplest answer to the intent of the video is to not use swords as it is purely a fan thing that only deliver not pleasant emotions. I speak as a player who at the beginning of the game sat on swords without having adequate elements.
What i dont like about swords is the fact that they are more expensive to use
As time goes on new better swords will appear and your investment to the current strongest sword will just be wasted like that
You had to invest corrupted shards and gold again to the new sword everytime it happens

One thing to say, swords are better than elements if you don't have a corrupted mythical or legendary, I tested corrupted elements like light and lighting, and even so, the combination of angel and lighting katana is still infinitely better, that is, only use elements if you have corrupted lengendary or mythical :)
With dual corrupted magma’s edge + corrupted angel angel u can make an op Build combined with the reforged and gold upgrades you will need to spent a lot of gold tho then u will start to do around 25k+ dmg per hit plus angel tick will also be doing a lot of dmg u can switch between angel and sword to use angel hell circle from time to time is a rlly strong meta build(forgot to mention you will put all your points into element since sword points are still weak u can do 100 on health and 300 on element if u have tank quest completed or all into element if u have a strong health set up to you and what fills your needs)
is it just me or we met before in a lobby? im a kitsune with the blaze cosmetic armor or even before than and azure armor, either way nice channel my friend
Fun note, lighting katana's ability don't get bonus from dual wield.And it's sad.The things how to make katana's ability stronger is infinte upgrading by gold. corrupting,godly reinforge,infusion and katana's exp level.
Try fusion or menta blade, they don't t have any abilites, they just can shot, and it posibly scale from dual wielding.

I feel like sword is meant to be used with a high defense stat as well, while magic doesn't need a lot of defense cause you don't have to get close and personal with the enemy

its not sad, you just have to be greatful for the supplies you have. I used to only have a single corrupted lightning katana and I could still easily make my way through the dungeons. Now all people want is the absolute best of everything and its kind of sad. Yall element mains don't have any skill thats why u have to use elements

imo phantom is overated as hell, kitsune have the best potential to wipe a room with 2 ability used, and dont say phantom barage is op, look at lava and then phantom, they are almost the same yet lava have the range for nightmare mode and potential to multi hit while staying a safe distance, and well lava is literally legendary and kitsune even though rare is more common than the phantom

no i wasted 40 k on it and realized using elements were so much better

Such an ufair comparason considering maining sword and element is way different and u cant just keep sword on low upgrades also not many sword mains actually do max points into sword points
I just want to see my maximum damage of sword if it can compare with elements, also i think an investment of nearly 2m gold is enough xd

If your still low lvl and struggling to farm gold then no, but as soon you start getting a lot of gold then u can get radar
