Thank you for all the videos from România , every country has good & bad but i am personally very proud of my romanians because they are very strong & with a lot of imagination , smart. We have a saying :" Faci din că.cat , bici și să troznească" translation : Make from poop whip & to thunder😂😂 so this is how i see my romanians. For example in comunism years we didn' t have soap & we learn how to make it from pork fat & other ingridients soap , just an example. God protect my country❤😢
Since you found Recorder I can't recommend to you enough "30 de ani de democrație", it's their most viewd video I think. Has English subtitles and maybe is the beast peak at how Romania recovered after communism. It's a long video, has 11 million views, but I think you will enjoy it very much. It's a very comprehensive view at the Romanian struggles and history, and has a lot of people in it (ex: presidents and prime ministers). It's very good.
Just to be known, a big part of the bad Image of România în '89 was prepared by the "security" în terms of remouving the unconvenient Ceaușescu (today they are the richest peoples în România). Next day after he was killed the shops was full of stuff because the Warehouses was full of everything but was delivered the right amount to create shortages. Same with the orphanases where the people were allowd to steal the children food for years and the worker unsurvived ( how în a dictatorship regim) becoming lazy. Don't forget :România was an experiment of how fast you can destroy the culture of a country and turn them to o ide to globalism.
Hello Mr. Giant, it is really the period immediately following the revolution of 1989, the communist period was really dark, abortion being illegal, many women were forced to carry the pregnancy to term and not having the opportunity to raise their children decently, due to the lack of during the communist period, they were forced to leave them in the care of the state in orphanages. I don't think those mothers knew what life in the orphanage meant, in fact it was a shock and a great shame. for the vast majority of Romanians to find out how the children were treated in those institutions. The period after the Second World War until the revolution was the darkest period in our entire history, after the war, Russia looted all Romanian industry, dismantled and moved all factories to the USSR, looted our agriculture causing famine, put the leadership of the country, agents of the Soviet KGB, imprisoned all the political and cultural elite of Romania, they stole more than half of the surface of historical Moldova. Because of this, the Romanian people do not trust everything that means Russia or Russian interests. Please forgive me for the anti-Russian rhetoric, but we are being punished.
Mr Giant, you were talking about people's clothes and wondered if that was the late 80s. At the very beginning of Ian's video it is mentioned that he entered Romania after the revolution of 1989. So I guess the pictures from the orphanage were from that year onwards.
Is true my mother was beatten by my father 25 years , head broke etc & i swear to myself i would never stay to be like her because i was so affected us a kid & i kept my promise. My exhusband started to hit me from small mistakes & i divorce him because i don' t want my kids to live like i lived when i was a kid with fear. But when i talled to my mother in law & my mother that he beates me they said :" so what ? We stayed merried like this with a men like that, a men is a men " 😢😢😢😢 & i said : " No a men do not beat women , a cowerd beats women & kids!" 😊
My father was the same, and true it affects the kids way more than people realize. Luckily my parents got separated when I was really young so I am nothing like my father.
@@MrGiant i hope ppl know how much your kids are afected. Every time i heard my father car when i was a kid my stomach hurts on the age of 15 y i developed a broken stomach, doctors where amazed how a small kid can do something on his stomach that grown ppl do because of the stres? Answer : every thinks goes true stomach all the fellings ( few ppl know this) . My stomach & my heart had so much to endure because fear. I was so scared when i heard my mother scream & beg . More sad every one knew from the street but no one said to him nothing. Now he is dead but i have almost bad memories with him , nothing good. I can count on one hand the good memories with him.
You know a human is good when from his bad thinks makes good thinks. He could choose after he lost his kid to drink etc but he choose to help ppl❤❤❤❤❤. Sorry for my bad english i hope you will understand ❤❤
Fun fact i live now in București Noi ( New Bucharest) 😂😂😂😂😂 so King Charles & King Michael ( r.i.p ) came to him to open this , so you can see how much this men did❤
It is true that in the communist era the orphanages where like hell. But now they are prestine. In some cases there are shit directors that steal from donations. I personally took down a bunch of staff that took from the children.
It was right after the 1989 Revolution. They came to aid the population. The orphanages, especially those wich hiused children with disabilities were horryfic. They were a consequence of a decree issued by Ceausescu, wich forbid abortions (sounds similar? could that happen in a democracy - wait, it does happen in USA). Women had no choice but to abandon their unwanted children or try to get illegal abortions. (There ia a movie on this theme with many awards - 4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days). The problem with illegal abortio s was that many women died or in some cases they were unsuccesful, but they lead to the birth of a baby with disabilities. Generally, people with disabilities were not regarded well - Ceausescu's vision resembled to that of Hitler - the creation of the modern, socialist human being, with no flaws. So these kids were treated like garbage. Even nowadays, unfortunately, Romanians use the words "retarde" or " handicaped" as an insult, due to the indoctrination of those times. The conditions in wich these children were raised resembled the Nazi camps, in my opinion. The difference was that they were not sent to the gas chambers. This a stigma on our people and we should accept that the society, the people as a whole were accomplice to this situation.
Also, you should watch videos about The Pitesti phenomenon or Sighetu Marmatiei Prison. Other dark sides of Romania. Leftist should also watch these videos, especially those who think that communism is good and it brings people only benefits.
oke, like this.. in the end of the communist regime they had a very strange policy, the wanted Romania to grow in numbers if im not wrong in 1989-1994 Romani almsot made the 25M populs, but after the late 90s-early 00s alot emigrated to the West, so much that Romania today stands on like 18M . and they didnt allow mixures of ethnicieties, they didnt have a program for sick or hadicaped children, and abortions were illigal, so, this was the result of all of that, they gathered all them kids into this kid of "orphanage" sad fact.. thats how my family managed to escape that regime, im half Romanian and half Chilean, and ive been told by both my parents, my grandparents(still in romanina) and my aunt about how we used to get visits from the Securitate and they tried to make my mother do an "abortion" and even hit her in the stomack to force a miss carrigde when i was in the stomack, beacuse we werent accepted as half bloods.. so my parents fled the country. years later when this kind of thing was dissplayed on the tv my mother started to cry and from PTSD about the knowledge of how close the reality of this horrid thing she saw on the tele, almost came to become a reality for her own children..imagine others who werent so lucky..
That wasn't he is talking like we were barbarians that's not true and about occidental stealing kids after 1989 they don't talk about that do they. They were many orfanges because woman weren't aloud to do an abortion so they abode the kids. The time period were talking is after 1990. He is talking about no color because the were not that many differences everybody had the same close and same salary that's boring and grey for some else not seeing differences we didn't have gay people etc. We weren't homles they didn't like the new sistem so didn't want to work fore the new sistem. In the comunist era if you were homeless there will be you a home and a workplace and if you didn't go to work they will get in person We were normalized but we weren't barbarian we were big exporters and heavenly desvolte industry. People were always at work so that's why they were at the orfanges but not all kids were abandoned. Some were just taken from there family they were seed they died in hospital and they were selling them in different occidental places. From 1990 to the 2000 I remember kids were send abroad like crazy. And if you go today in the orfanges is the same in every country actually there more abused in America. Lots of kids that were send from Romania they were abused in America but they don't talk about that. The homeless weren't from the comunist era but from the selling of every industry in Romania after the comunist era. So they ore from the chance to democratic
Are you saying there were no homosexuals? Yes, homosexuality was punished with hard years in prison, and they did not expose themselves in public, but there were as many as there are today, now we see them because they are no longer afraid that they will clog the prison. Everything you wrote above are lies or a mixture of half-lies and simian-shochocist-Putinist rhetoric. If you are socially illiterate, my advice is to start reading the true history and only then give your opinion on how the Romanian people lived under communism. That is if you are not paid by the Russian KGB-FSB to spew rubbish and misinformation.

@@MrGiant It's a 3 hours video, so a bit hard to react to, maybe in parts. Anyways, I also recommend it, it's worth watching.
@@MrGiant be advised, Recorder is a Soros founded group, directly or not. They are never targeting the global power.

In 2021 in US 7000 children per year were abandoned this was before states banned abortion
