I adore how many new artists join in on EPIC! Zeus' beard and hair behaving like clouds the entire time and stretching into the sky when he's mad? So damn cool! I love the syren, the expressions Ody shows the entire time, that scene of Ody becoming more tired, cold, and having a sharper gaze as he goes through more and more troubles, so much good stuff. Gotta say though, Hera being so monstrous took me by surprise, but it fits with how dismissive she is of any life and how powerful she is as she towers over Athena

Excellent use of lighting and color, especially with the lightning! The limited color pallet through the rest of the video works as it is, but it also makes those moments you do add highlights and multiple colors really stand out! The transitions between the gods being introduced were great, not looking out of place with the character being cut from or to, possibly my favorite part of the video!
Those are so amazing designs! I really liked how creative you were with color, I liked the scenes showing Odysseus, especially the one with him getting blood all over his drawing to symbolize what's going to happen later so Ares will let him go. And Hera looks AMAZING.

It is kind of funny. Zeus tasked Athena with getting the gods on her side (which she did), yet as an absolute ruler he knwe that he would judge as he sees fit. If she would fail, he could blame others, yet he could still go against his prior words. It shows that he is not a just and fair ruler, but an absolute tyrant, only bowing to his will. So basically the same as in the original works of the Theogony by Hesiod.
So much amazing stuff in this animatic, I love it to bits! All of the god designs are awesome, though your Hera stands out as quite unique, and your Aphrodite feels so... dynamic and flowy, it's great. The animations all feel so nicely connected and flow really well into each other. Zeus' beard acting like clouds is a great little detail, and his lightning looks absolutely horrifying. Plus the Ody timelapse at the end? Brutal, absolutely brutal. Thank you for this amazing work and I hope you do more animatics for epic in the future!
