This was John's second attempt at songwriting, which became a huge hit...I love this poppy, light hearted song.❤..Never gets old..John is still married to his Best Friend, since 1975, and has 6 children ..❤.Thanks for your great reaction.
I was 18 when this song was released. I fell instantly in love with it! But, I have to confess, that when hearing it on radio in the earlier times, I always forgot it was Queen; and as a die-hard Queen fan, I was mad at myself every time!. The issue eventually resolved itself but that's Queen for you. They find a place in your head, heart & soul and you don't even know it!
John Deacon taught himself to play the piano so he could compose this...one of the few times you'll see him playing the piano.
I love this one. I bought this when it came out in the 70’s. Great reaction. Another of my favourites is “Seven Seas of Rhye” official video😊👍🏾

Love this a song devoted to his wife, john was the sentimental one of the group. Freddie always delivered the others words and music with conviction and passion.

This song was a huge hit in the US which was great for John/Queen to do well in such a large market. Roger didn't want this song to be a single because he didn't think it was a rock song and he hated the line "I'm happy at home."
Rog was a bit of a playboy, it seems.
