- Jupiter is the 5th planet from the sun and largest planet in our solar system. Jupiter's mass is 1.9 octillion kilograms and diameter of 140,000 kilometers. So what will happen if it hits the Sun?
As Jupiter gets close to the sun it's surface temperature will increase and it will start evaporating. On hitting the Sun's surface, it will quickly explode and release all of it's gases.

Depends on how fast Jupiter impacts the Sun that would determine the out come. Your simulation looks as if it's only being pulled by the Sun's mass. If Jupiter let's say hit the Sun much faster, like half the speed of light it could possibly result in a nova scenario which would decimate the inner planets.
