Does capcut have a play ahead from start feature? If I put the cursor on 1:01 and press stop then play again it will start again at 1:01 ? I have not found this feature, mines just stops where ever the cursor ends.
Automatically? The only editor that I know that does that is screenflow and it only works if you record and edit in screenflow. Otherwise you’d have to manually add the text to the screen at the right time.

Hello, Thank you for this great video. Do you know what is the shortcut to make the cursor go faster on CapCut. I am referring to the equivalent of the "L" short cut keyboard key on Final cut pro and also the "J" short cut keyboard key.
i was waiting for the end to see the output of export bcos in my case it turn into 3 different files.. video cover that's jpg, video file that is mp4 and sound file that is mp3, could you tell me how to make a single file after editing is done?
Can you do green screen editing? Do you if you can export video files in quicktime format with alpha channel? Quicktime with Alpha channel is a video file with transparent background. Similar to a png file
Question - How do i set capcut up to follow the cursor in the timeline, when I'm playing back video? If I have all the clips expanded for some fine editing, when i click play, when the cursor goes off the screen, the timeline stays static. How do I get it to move to follow the cursor? Thanks!

CapCut is free so you could download it and give it a try! I haven’t used Filmora in years so I wouldn’t be able to compare

When I created the video, you didn’t need a pro account to export. Not sure if that changed 🤷♀️ hope not!
@@meredithmarsh It seems if you use the Laptop version, It wants you to use Pro, which costs. If you just use the website version, you can export.

You use keyframes to do that and scaling between the keyframes will give you a zoom in or out effect

You can delete background with cutout. Even without using green screen . If you have a good resolution and enough contrast, it does a pretty good job.

I’m not sure if there is a setting for that but it’s super annoying isn’t it?!
