Thank you so much for this live stream and for allowing me/us to offer up ultrasound prayers with you for your test this afternoon. It was hard for me to fully “believe” in prayer until people prayed for me many years ago when I had stage 4 cancer. I finally decided that I did not need to understand how or why prayer works or how it joins us in community in a wonder-full way. When my brain sidetracks into trying to figure it out I just remind myself the power of prayer is part of God’s Great Mystery that I cannot explain while I have the limitations of being human.
Thank you for suggesting we pray for God’s guidance in voting and for our Country. I believe that no matter how the election turns out, people of faith are going to be Called forth to allow God’s love to flow in and through and around them and help God heal our divided and broken nation.

The beginning of this year I was diagnosed with breast cancer that then required a lumpectomy, radiation only, and now treatment to prevent its return. Everyone’s prayer helped so much. I kept getting if it had been there longer, if you had not this or that. Yes, prayers were answered.
