Do you place the die/ acetate/ metal shim/cutting plate ? I'm assuming there's a metal shim. If there isn't a metal shim, Gemini and a brand called CraftFirst have thin shims available on Amazon around $8-$9. They should fit the Plat 6. Anna Griffin also has one and Sizzix's metal plate is really, really thick, not sure that'd be compatible but maybe if it replaces a cutting plate. Happy Crafting.
@@BerniBernsify thanks I will have to look for one. I hate pulling out my gemini 2 for small jobs but so far it is the only machine I have that cuts acetate.
Acetate is tricky to cut. When I use a general shape I'm able to just it just fine, but anything detailed is tricky, so I just use scissors to follow along any cut lines that didn't completely cut
love this month's dies. they are so adorable.
What a great set of dies. The detail on all of these products is amazing. Thanks for demonstrating them.

Great idea, I have such a hard time cutting acetate with my Plat 6.

you shouldn't be using a shim with your die cutting machine as this will cause your machine to break over time@@BerniBernsify

@@Yana.Smakula Thank you Yana, what sandwich do you use for basic shapes? That is all I want to cut for acetate.
Too bad they don't have a buy one option. That would be great.
