Butter and pancakes does go together. This recipe is like deep frying your pancakes so it has some oil flavouring and crispy outer layer then putting a whole load of butter on top. ofc it would taste good
As delicious as it sounds and looks, that's one of the unhealthiest things I've seen in awhile. Just hope that she doesn't eat this too frequently now.
@@edward_lee I mean eating a lot of fat is still not healthy. Its less fat being healthy and more it turns out that of the 2, sugar (particularly simple sugars) is worse than fat bc it is easily digested calories that not only isn't filling but actually encourages eating more and more while making us lethargic (sugar crash). Fats also make you lethargic but that's likely more from the longer digestive process than anything. The more popular theory for why is that simple sugars are harder to come by in nature so whenever we did (like a Grove of fruit trees) it was advantageous to eat as much as possible and stick around in the area to eat more. It also doesn't help stuff being sweet is basically nature's indicator that it is safe to eat. But an excessive amount of calories, no matter the source is never going to be good for you and all come with their own issues. Sugar - diabetes Protein - gout Fats - heart/circulatory issues (varies by type of fat, trans fats very much are as bad as we think they are, saturated often not great and depends on the length of the molecules and if they're able to still be liquid at or near room temperature like coconut fat/oil. Unsaturated relatively fine and many are needed in our diet but still not recommended to drink a cup of fish oil or a stick of butter a day while living a sedentary lifestyle)
I remember a stall called “fried affair” and they served stuff like deep fried butter balls, deep fried Oreos, deep fried cheesecake, you get the idea. I ordered a deep fried cheesecake and it was just a large slice of cheesecake that was deep fried with chocolate drizzles on top, it’s literally a stroke on a stick but tasted very good I gotta admit
@@rpbautis2000 I was about to say the same thing which tells me I’m probably not wrong. Gotta love the absolute diabetic hellscape that is the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo…it’s delicious
I've had deep-fried butter at my county fair. Never before had I eaten something that tasted good, but I come out of it with a profoundly negative opinion. I also tried deep-fried deep-fried batter in the same stroke. That probably didn't help things.
As much as I love and adore Subaru, no amount of her saying "It's delicious!" will make me wanna try deep fried butter. Seriously wtf, that's like deep frying milky oil or something. It's also embarrassing how much I anticipated seeing SubaHands, even if they're gloved. But no, you can barely see the cooking, let alone any hands. Amazing dodge lmao PS: Love the surprise btw. Made me think of the "Hehe boii" meme.
The original video does show gloved SubaHands at a few points! 8:00, for one. I think there might be a couple more times after that. Glad you liked the surprise!
@@smolhane You dont actually want to see the bare hands of a VTuber. Some have shown their hands and it is really disruptive for the flow of a stream. It somehow creates this uncanny valley effect when someone has an anime head but realistic hands.
I know, right! It’s not like someone would nearly catch their kitchen on fire from making tuna helper. I, for one, have never heard of such a preposterous thing. Anyone saying I nearly caught my kitchen on fire from making tuna helper is telling stories.
I still don't understand how that can taste good. It just sounds like oil and butter to me. Whatever delicious batter it would be fried with surely it would just be overpowered by the butter flavour?
its literally just a fried pancake with shit tons of butter on it, although there should be toppings on it but yea, you would probably get sick of it real fast even if you like its taste
And with that, she's already halfway to earning honorary US citizenship
🦅
Sounds like something that'll give me heartburn the second I swallow it
Or arteriosclerosis is more like it 😂😂
"It's so dang good"
Me being lactose intolerance: yes I know
oof
its fried butter, its gonna taste good by pure brute force but you'll probably hate yourself for liking it haha

Yep, that makes sense! I kind of want to try it myself, now...
Ahh. Fair food. Always good for a once in a while treat.
She’s gonna be our thicc tomboy duck if she keeps this up.
Deep-fried butter is the pinnacle of decadent deliciousness.
There's a small surprise for those who watch until the end :)
I like how you add those images, makes whole video so lively.
Yes, I'm glad you liked them!
I would try it, but i don't feel like cutting off 5 years off my lifespan yet.
Subaru amazed by it being delicious seems very convicing to me
I thought it was meme food but I guess it is actually good.
Good lord, that laugh.
As delicious as it sounds and looks, that's one of the unhealthiest things I've seen in awhile. Just hope that she doesn't eat this too frequently now.
Have you tried deep fried lard?
Subaru is an active person I wouldn't worry about it.
The cake mix might be unhealthy, but butter is fine. The idea that fat (butter) is unhealthy is being recognized now as a myth.

Sounds like the food you find at the Houston rodeo.

I don't care how delicious it may be, I refuse to prepare such a dish from a moral standpoint
She sounded like she was having the time of her life the whole time
Arterie Clogging 101 with Donald Duckette
I've seen those before. I believe they were called "Heart attack on a stick"
this duck is so cute, i love her. And i wanna try her cooking, this dish is such a treat.

for a first few second i thought the red square thing was an art for oven lmao
Haha, it does kind of look like that!

Deep fried butter is actually pretty good. Think an extremely buttery crispy pancake.

Funny how I just felt my heart going out from my mouth a couple hours ago...
Was actually scary
Hope you're feeling better now!
Haachama can't do cooking streams for a while so I see Subaru took over
Those dishes aren't gonna cook themselves!

Cruelty-free chicken Kiev...
I had to look up what chicken Kiev was, but, yeah, that's one way to look at it! I guess a fellow birb wouldn't want to harm a chicken...
> It's so good
i mean, no shit it's fookin butter of course it's gonna taste good
but at the price of clogged arteries
This reminds me of Richard Waterson
So this is why her previous house burned down
waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa that looks so unhealthy but good
How bad do you have to be at cooking that the first thing you mention is that you bough a fire extinguisher xDDD
She probably brought it knowing her viewers would remind her that her house once burned down (I don't know how)

I mean… she likes American food, and there's nothing more American than deep-fried butter
W H Y
Just reading the title made me nauseous
I guess i will try it too
Edit: ah is Hikakin r8?
I believe so, yeah.
I still don't understand how that can taste good. It just sounds like oil and butter to me. Whatever delicious batter it would be fried with surely it would just be overpowered by the butter flavour?
Yeah, I would need to try it to believe it's good. It probably depends on the ratio of batter to butter, too.
its literally just a fried pancake with shit tons of butter on it, although there should be toppings on it but yea, you would probably get sick of it real fast even if you like its taste
Out of all the abominations created by American she chose fried butter
this makes me want to throw up. i cannot stand the taste of butter
Ew I guess i need to stop being American
