It's a great game to introduce kids to spelling! I had that games as a kid, and my parents keep it for my kids. We had a blast today in boys and girls Hangman! Recommend to anyone with kids.
Fun to see this, specially with the vintage TV advert. But I don't really understand why this would be a recommendation when the physical components don't seem to add anything. Why not just play with pen(cil) and paper?
This is one of the many pencil and paper games that have been given a self contained publication. You could very well play this game on paper, but the retail version allows easy clean up and not wasting lots of paper in the process. Like Battleship, that is also a pen and paper game I appreciate the abaility to reuse the same parts with minimal cleanup. Thanks for watching. Cheers!

I guess I struggle imagine most folk playing enough times that the paper wastage would be more than the wasted materials in the construction of the game. And surely in terms of 'clean up', it takes as long if not longer to put away the boardgame? Battleship does require a grid that takes a while to draw. So I understand the desire for that game as a physical version a bit more. I guess one good bit about this game is that it codifies the rules and gets you to write your words so you stay honest and avoid mistakes. Glad you're enjoying your game! :-)
