Great job. The truck looks fantastic. My '52 has a riser the bench seat sits on, but your solution would be great for bucket seats too. Looking forward to the next build.
Man! I love you yall's channel! After watching the latest Power Tour videos, you have me dreaming about doing it next year in my 65 Galaxie 500 I am resurrecting. Safe travels!!! Bert
Nice ride! I’m down the street in G’twn. Recently sold my Galaxie 500xl and bought a ‘72 long bed. For a few months I lived stayed at a condo just down the street from that overlook. Road my bike there a few times a week. Port Royal is a beautiful place.
When a board is first rough sawn it is a true 2x4, the drying process and planning of the board reduce it to the 1.5″ x 3.5″ size. Besides 1 and a half by 3 and a half sounds silly. 😊
First, it's your truck. Do what you want to. But I don't get the whole patina thing. I would much rather see a nice paint job on it, some weather seals and a carpet. I have enjoyed the build and the videos.
@@clasicradiolover Thank you for checking out the video. I often think about that. For me it’s the chase for parts and the digging around the junkyard for the odd part to use. I also seem to scratch up or dent anything nice I have ever had. I hope this helps with the reason why I got into the patina thing. Of course I love a nice pant job too.
Kevin great job on the truck!

I believe 2x4 references the rough cut dimensions before it's finished for retail. Those wheels are my new favorite 😉
@@nwpage86. Thank you for the info on the 2x4 thing. You would think they would be able to compensate for that. We definitely love the wheels! 😎
I almost never hit the bell. I'm usually driving when the videos post, I don't want distractions.

Should have Casey's Customs those fenders. Or narrower tires/rims.
@@clasicradiolover I struggled with that for a long time. It was a solution that worked out though. I probably should have just got wheels that fit 😂
