- Wow! So today I am sharing the first in this round of makeup declutters for 2017. This time I decided to start with eyeshadow palettes. This is definitely the hardest category to tackle! I started with 110 palettes! Ah! I feel so good about the progress I was able to make on this. I hope you enjoy watching. As always if you have questions or comments leave them below. I love watching these declutter videos, especially the eye shadow palette ones, but then I feel so heartbroken at how much we buy and not use, and then eventually discard. Emotions of a makeup hoarder...

Puja Wahi I agree! Mixed emotions with declutters. It feels good to let go of things I'm not using but it's a reminder how much money I've really thrown down the toilet! 😔
I love watching to hopefully get some idea on what palletes not to buy. Have not bought my first high end pallet yet and dont wanna waste money on something i wont use. However, I have the bug, so we will see!

You did so well! I just uploaded my own palette collection and declutter and I only got rid of like, 12 palettes, so I was so stunned by the amount you managed to declutter. Great job, Lisa!
You should do a video where you buy products based on the name of the color, and you can't see what the actual color looks like. You could online shop on Sephora or ulta with a friend and they read the names of the colors to you and you pick one without knowing what you actually picked. Then buy a full face and use it in a "tutorial"/ challenge using the stuff you bought based on the color name. Love your channel, thought this was a cool idea !
I don't have that much makeup but watching reminds me how blessed I am, how I really do have more then enough makeup to neverrrrr buy again (unless I run out a fav)....I haven't purchased a palette in about two or three years and I haven't been without once!

UD Electric is my favorite color palette of all time. They are pressed pigments & nothing compares to them for me.

I am shocked to hear that you don't like tbe Fiona Styles and Tarte eyeshadows because out of my insane amount of eyeshadows those two are some of my favorites. It just goes to show thar everyone's opinions are completely different.

Oh gosh. I don't think I'd be able to get rid of that many. I just bought my first tarte palette and all my other makeup is from walmart. I have 5 kids and most my money goes toward them, so when I buy things I have to LOVE them.

Iris Lifrak i only have one eyeshadow palette from them just to try and i'm so in love, i would cry if someone declutter juvia's place palettes because they're amazing.
Iris Lifrak I wanted to buy one from there but I'm not sure with which one to start with. Which one (or ones) do you recommend?
Monica A. My two favorite palettes are the Nubian and Nubian 2, depending on how comfortable you are with color. If you already know that you want something brighter than the Nubian, the Saharan is really awesome too. The only thing that isn't great about Juvia's place is that you usually have to pay for shipping under $100. But I know a couple of TH-camrs have codes for 10%. NIKKIE for nikkietutorials or BABSBEAUTY for babsbeauty, depending on who you want to support. Hope that helps!
PS, I have all the palettes and you can't go wrong with any of them. Although I have to say that my least favorite is the Zulu because I don't gravitate towards those Shades naturally
You did good! I got down from 75 to about 40 but my aim is 30 so I still have some distance to go. It helps me to declutter when I focus on the quality of the eyeshadow and how they work for me combined with the fact that there is only 52 weeks in a year 😰

The Yellow Juvias Place and that Tarteist Pro are two palettes I want but can't get. Is the Tarteist Pro palette a permanent one? If so I can probably get it in the future if I save enough as it is 70$ here in Canada. LOL Great job at decluttering. I just did a big purge with my rainbow loom, and Shopkins and am donating them to either Value Village or The Thrift Store. I love to make people happy and knowing they will be loved by children without the money for them makes me so happy.

Poor video quality - for half of the video everything is only half in the shot because you didn't have everything centred in front of the camera. I enjoy declutters but this was irritating to watch.
