I miss Germany and the German people: in Hanau for 2 1/2 years and Bad Kissingen for 6 months as a Military Policeman, (89 - 92). The German Volk were so gentile and polite. Of all the nations I served in, Deutschland was my favorite.

One can't be too careful nowadays you know, there's all sort of strange people about and I think all girls should be accompanied by a brass band when they're nipping down to the corner shop for a loaf of bread and half a dozen eggs... excellent!

It is an Austrian music band and they were founded by members of the Austrian Federal Railways back in the day - so they have no military background, it is just their service uniform. Greetings from Austria!
