Your video resonated with me because I never had a devotion to Our Lady of Sorrows until my father passed away on the day we commemorate Our Lady of Sorrows, September 15th. He also was dying of a similar pulmonary disease and didn’t want to be transferred from hospital hospice to in-home hospice because ( similar to your mom) he was thinking of others when he said he didn’t want it to be “too difficult for your mother” and he ended up dying on September 15th because I believe Our Lady Of Sorrows saw his suffering and asked her son to do something.He died peacefully with the rosary next to him and now I share Our Lady of Sorrows with others. I don’t usually comment on videos but had to in this case ! I’m 37 I went to Medjugorge when I was 28. I went with my grandmother . I was Catholic but not practicing I was a party girl not really into church I just went out of curiosity of the stories my granny told me. I was basically on a holiday for a sun tan and if I seen what she had told me in her stories then it was a bonus. I went to an adoration I didn’t know what the blessed sacrament was or that it was even on the altar. The minute it started I started crying not just crying balling my eyes out this happened for 1 hr straight until I walked away after the adoration. Even as weird as it was I just never thought it was anything just a bit random I didn’t understand anything at this point. The next year I went back with my granny and I asked god “I want to see something” with conviction. I went to adoration I was in the front row I saw a woman walk up after 10 mins and kneel in front of me . She was making noises and moving her arms this was subtle kind of and went on the rest of the adoration when they lifted the blessed sacrament to bless people she moved up with the blessed sacrament at the same time not levitating but in compete synchronicity she was screaming she couldn’t be in front of it and she spun to side screaming and collapsed on the ground she lay there not moving until the adoration finished. 5 priest walked towards her and in their presence she went into full blown possession. Convulsions ,her voice turned into a man’s voice, swearing spitting at the priest this went on for 30 mins until after the exorcism . This took me 7 years to even understand, awaken to God , process what I had seen. 17 months fully back at church Now I’m 37 I don’t drink alcohol my journey with God is so amazing I can’t explain in words I’m just back from 2 weeks in medgugorge and it’s so different when u are converted the level of peace I felt was unreal . God is real the devil is real and we need to protect ourselves.

I experienced something similar in Medjugorgie. I was outside of Saint James church, and the demon inside the person was growling like an animal, and it was coming out over the speakers. I believe they exercised the person at that point. it was scary… But not really because we were in a holy place with capable people to deal with the situation.
what I seen was absolutely horrific! Pure evil! So if that’s the bad. How good is the good ! It happens all of time there if you say to the locals you seen an exorcism they don’t even flinch.it's nearly as common as seeing a bird outside!

So interesting. I've been praying the chaplet to the Blood of Jesus, which has also the 7 sorrows of Mary in it, but I've been thinking about focusing directly on those and getting the Seven Sorrows Chaplet too. I was enrolled to the Carmelite scapular just recently on 9/15 which is the feast of Our Lady of Seven Sorrows - the patron saint of my country and it's a national holiday here too. I don't just want to heap up the different devotions, it's all for me to grow to know Our Lady better... as well as the saints, angels, and the whole family that's around our Lord in heaven. It's not because of them, but because of Him.

Do both! Pray the Holy Rosary DAILY! Add the 7 Sorrows too at some point during the day. It's not a long prayer. Mother Mary will heal you and always help you. She will also give you the awareness to know and confess your sins to enable one change and led a virtuous life for eternal salvation.

You should try to do more than just grown in faith. Pray the Rosary. Go to confession, and then go to Mass.

I've been through so much I had forgotten how much it's worse for unbelievers, even in daily life...
So interesting. I've been praying the chaplet to the Blood of Jesus, which has also the 7 sorrows of Mary in it, but I've been thinking about focusing directly on those and getting the Seven Sorrows Chaplet too. I was enrolled to the Carmelite scapular just recently on 9/15 which is the feast of Our Lady of Seven Sorrows - the patron saint of my country and it's a national holiday here too.
I don't just want to heap up the different devotions, it's all for me to grow to know Our Lady better... as well as the saints, angels, and the whole family that's around our Lord in heaven. It's not because of them, but because of Him.

I don't see why not. From my personal experience, what is most important is that we connect with our hearts. Any intention you have to honor the lives and Sorrows of Jesus and Mary will be richly rewarded and appreciated by their Immaculate and Sacred hearts. ❤

Do both! Pray the Holy Rosary DAILY! Add the 7 Sorrows too at some point during the day. It's not a long prayer. Mother Mary will heal you and always help you. She will also give you the awareness to know and confess your sins to enable one change and led a virtuous life for eternal salvation.

You need to understand the church cane before the Bible, the church formed the Bible. Nowhere in the Bible does it say Bible only but saint Paul did say hold fast to your traditions... the primary one being devotion to Mary and understanding her role in spiritual warfare. God is outside time and space. So are the Angels. They were shown and allowed to choose in one instance at the beginning of their creation God's will or to reject him. They saw all of history, heaven and hell play out. Time is not real except to us humans who experience it linearly. God exists apart from time or space.

@@adito11 I have thought about changing it. I undrrstand where you're coming from... problem is I can't find any picture that does her beauty and majesty justice. I've seen her. All the typical religious pictures look nothing like her. Some people have commented they love rendition because it's different and not the typical "Mary" picture you see out there. I'll continue to pray about it. Feel free to send me a photo if you find one that's different and does her beauty justice.
