I know there's a lot of curiosity about Mary & Tyler. It may just be my personality, but to me their relationship is their's and it's so special & personal. I just love knowing she's happy! Don't feel pressured in any way to explain them here just because people are curious...just my two cents...for what that's worth...😊 Love you guys!
I hope you do a vlog about Tyler. We love Mary and would like to get to know her special friend. Its a beautiful Saturday morning in Minnesota today. I hope you are having a good day! Everything is so expensive now, air flights, travel because of gas etc.
I will tell my side of the story soon, that will clear up a lot for everyone, then when they are ready they can put their 2 cents in. I am glad you are having beautiful weather. It was really nice here today too! 🥰🌻💛🧡🍂
Thanks for sharing Sherry. Shame you can't drive to Anchorage and pay less for parking to offset. Mary can share as little or as much, it's her private life and believe we are just pleased to see her so happy. It's a pressure they shouldn't have to have right now. Hard enough just managing long-distance. Enjoy your week 🌻
It's just such a long drive. Spending a whole day in the car each way to spend hardly any time together, it's easier to fly, too bad they couldn't get frequent flyer perks. Thank you, people keep asking, I think Mary and Tyler aren't ready to tell their story, but I am 🤣😉💕🥰 You enjoy your week too!
I am so happy to have finally made it to the sunflower field, they didn't think it would bloom this year, our weather has been so strange. Mary is doing good with her driving, then she will have to learn more in the snow 🤣❄
It's nice there is a patch planted that can be trampled for photos. I would assume that the watershed project planted. We have farmers here that plant for money crop and often the police must run people off or manage traffic and some just leaving their vehicles. Hundreds of thousands lost in crop for selfies. Be sure to check for bug's and tics.
People were picking the flowers too. It's an insanely huge plot of sunflowers, most people didn't think it would bloom before the frost this year, it's been such an awful year for crops. I don't think we have a problem here with people destroying this, it's admired pretty well. I haven't seen any ticks here, although I hear they do exist now that people bring dogs back and forth.
Alaska be showing off in food and flowers too. I totally respect the lack of any talk. Sometimes someone watching might take an insert of conversation and misconstrued the significance of what was said. I hope that when and if you do a Q&A that people don’t create negative narrative of being judgmental nor reflecting their own negative traumas in the comments. Only want the best for the two of them. Have a great weekend.
I can't seem to get enough veggies this time of year, everything is so fresh and tastes so good. We are not used to those really dark cloudy days here, it's odd. I remember weeks of it in Michigan, people would get so depressed.
Woohoo, I finally got ti see Tyler! 😁 I like that Stuff Yo face food truck, hee hee! 😂 Well, Idk but I assume you prefer rain over snow right now, hee hee! Your veggies and squash ravioli looked yummy! Have a nice Saturday! 🌻🧡🍂
Haha, Tyler has been around for a while 😉 Stuff yo face is dangerous, I gave Heather most of my funnel cake. Oh gosh, I thought about that the other day, had all of this rain been snow we would be buried!!! ❄❄❄ Thank you, I hope your weekend is going well. 🌻💛🍂🧡
Good morning Bears 🐻 That sunflower maze looks interesting, I could see where someone could get lost in it, has that ever happened that you know of? Mary and Tyler look so happy together. We hope you sit them down and we get the full story of how they met. 😊 It’s still hot here, high of 110 today. 🥵 Hopefully this will be the last weekend of triple digits. Where abouts are you going to in Michigan? Every flight now has to go through Anchorage, no more direct flight anywhere from Fairbanks (to Seattle)? I hope you are having a great weekend. 😊❤️
Hello! I am sure the flowers have gotten high enough in the past where someone could get lost. This year they almost didn't bloom, so I imagine they are smaller than usual. 110!!! ugh 🔥 My family is all over Michigan, so we will be all over literally. I was hoping to get most of them to meet in Frankenmuth but that's not happening. We can still go to Seattle from Fairbanks, but that's about it, it's our hub. I hope you cool off soon, stay cool this weekend 🌻🌬🍂🧡💛
@@AlaskanBearsVlogs It got up to 117 today! I love Frankenmuth and the Bronners Christmas store. Of course my favorite place is Mackinac Island. So Fairbanks to Seattle to Detroit? Have a great weekend. ❤️😊
I have seen the sunflower patch on Somers in Ak channel a few times. Very pretty. Where i live it's very expensive to fly most places. Very small airport. There are a few direct flights but not many. More in the summer months. Mostly have to fly to Denver then connect from there. Denver is about 6 to 7 hour drive depending on traffic into Denver. Thats our closest big city. Sioux falls is about the same but not really a major city. Much larger than us but still has it's limitations. We pay more here for most things because they are trucked in and freight is outrageous. Stuff also comes by train. Our food costs and gas and most everything is close to Anchorage prices. Our produce is usually cheaper but only at Walmart. Safeway is outrageous. Interested in hearing the Tyler story whenever your ready to tell it. Long distance is hard but I'm sure they will manage. You always show such yummy food. Thanks for the video. ❤❤❤
I have seen many people here post about the sunflower patch but I have never been there, we always seem to think about it too late. It barely just bloomed and we had a hard freeze night before last, so there is a short window. I do hear that from people that live in small towns far from big city airports. Same here, Walmart has become more affordable, Safeway and Fred's is pricey. I have the Safeway app, it helps a lot. That yummy food is only in the summer, LOL. It's food truck stuff. I am glad, I need to stop eating that yummy stuff! 😋🧡🍂🌻💛
Hi Bears 🐻🐻🐻 Beautiful sunflower field ... I don't recall seeing it. Have you all been there before? The veggies looked really good. Do you just season and put on olive oil to bake? Looks like that was a yummy dinner. Mary looks so happy when she is with Tyler 😊 Gotta be so difficult for both of them not to be able to see each other for a month. Today, for the first time in way over a week (been so long, I forgot) we had sun for a few hours ... back to rain tomorrow. Still waiting for the temps to feel like Fall ... hopefully soon. Hope Heather is doing well and enjoyed the takeout meal. Neither Hubby or me have had any of those dishes. Enjoy the rest of the weekend and have fun. Hugs. 💜💜💜
Hello, hello! We have not been to the sunflower field before! I have always wanted to go but wasn't sure where it was. I am so happy we went, we got some beautiful pictures. I put olive oil and seasonings on my veggies. Mary made homemade alfredo, it was delicious. I feel bad that Mary and Tyler are so far from each other, they talk daily though and nowadays with face chat, it's kind of like being there. I am happy we had sun today, the rain was getting ridiculous. I am sure your fall is not far from now. We really do love traditional Japanese, tonkotsu, it's so good and good for you. Thank you and I hope you are having a great weekend too! Hugs from us Bears 🥰🐾🐾💕🌻🍂🧡
I went to every outdoor market, rally and anything in town during the summer and leading up to the winter. To me, this weather is T-shirt and shorts weather. The field shown here was there in my time but the boulders were not. I remember the service road there as people ran during the mornings before the first snow fall. Love the vegetables but would have some chicken in with it. I usually would cut up sandwich meat. Its wasn't unusual for businesses to change the insides of their places from time to time. they even changes addresses every few years depending on the Rent. I learned to stop trusting the weather men when they predicted the weather. even with the technology they have today, I still trust the poor ground hog they drag out of its borough every year over the weather man. Garlic is one of my favorite herbs to add to my soups. With the airlines in these days, everything is guaranteed until 'they' say they don't guarantee it anymore which is daily.
People here sound like they are becoming more resilient. They are planning food truck all winter and outdoor events. That field is the flood project, it has been there forever, were the sunflowers there back then? I had only found out about them several years ago. We actually did put chicken in the leftover veggies. We love garlic too! The weather prediction seems to be getting worse here, it's bad. At least today was nice. I looked to see the price guarantee on the flights and it says 24 hours within your booking, but most people do get refunded if they complain. It's crazy how businesses here change places and names. I loved this Thai place on Cushman, she moved in town, I did not know it was her until years later because she changed the name. 🙄

Thank you so much, very well said. My side of it is a Mom perspective and I think it's cute. I will talk about it soon. 🥰

Alaska is so beautiful. So different from where I live.
Fairbanks reminds me of where I lived in Michigan, only with hills added in, LOL 😉
The sunflower field was pretty. We went to one in Iowa at a state park in the summer. I’m glad to hear Mary is driving more.

Thank you ❤💕 Everyone here for the most part is very understanding, I love it. You have a great weekend too!
The food was making me hungry, especially the veggies. It’s been raining and cloudy in nj for 4 days now a more in store. Makes me feel crummy!

Thanks for sharing. Can’t wait for the Mary and Tyler story. You staying in different places in MI?
We may be, I just got word that relatives will be in town, but up north.
