I just got diagnosed with the same condition. I've had 4 heart attacks and now 4 strokes! I have a blood clot in the right artery in the back of my head that doctors say they cant do anything about

I have amyloid cardiomyopathy. Was just diagnosed. I have too see a specialist to see if amyloidosis is affecting any other organs ( and i do have those symptoms) im 54 years old.

How do you get diagnosed for amyloid.

​@@joeyjuandiaz6195Blood test reveals if you carry the gene. I just found I have it and need to go get screening to see what type and how far the effects of which one I have. I'm only 4 but heyho. My dad and uncle have it also. Just hope my kid doesn't have it when she can get tested later in life.

@@joeyjuandiaz6195 i have Multiple Myeloma.. in remission with the cancer now the amyloid is doing a number on me.. i also have congestive heart failure and have been hospitalized with Kidney Failure.. just started seeing an amyloid specialist in Boston DR SARAH CUDDY..
