- A seaside cottage attached to a lighthouse... I can feel an ocean breeze just by saying that. It's showing its age, but it's comfy and cozy and oh-so-homey on the inside. Hope you like it!

Love the vibe! The landscaping is absolutely beautiful, with the rocks and the different types of grass, and the combination of terrain paints and terrain manipulation. It just fits so nicely into the environment, as always! 🥰
I also love that very cosy feel of small, cluttered rooms that look like they've been furnished with much love and that have got some wear and tear here and there. The huge fireplace in the living room definitely looks like it could heat the whole house, but I imagine it would be hard to keep it at the right temperature; I'd probably die from overheating in that room. 😂
Yeah, you aren't the first to realise a bit late that round rooms make it impossible to access the higher levels of your tower ... It's such a shame to waste all that (theoretically) usable room in there, but I like the solution you found with the fake ladders and trap doors.
Somehow, as the weather is turning and we have thick fog in the mornings, cloudy days, and soft rain, I'm always reminded of the seaside (the North Sea or Baltic Sea), so it's very fitting to me that you are building a lighthouse. Of course, I live nowhere near the sea (only by a river), so we also don't have that freshness and salty smell in the air, and the wind usually isn't that strong (Thank God! Cycling would be much harder, and that's how I get around!), but still ... the atmosphere feels similar.

I'm so glad you liked it ☺️ Building it made me want to visit the ocean so badly. But a cold area, where I can cozy up to a fire. Those foggy days you're describing sound dreamy, and exactly the kind of day I'm craving! The leaves are really changing here, so I'm getting in that kind of mood.
You're so right, that living room would be toasty! I've been in rooms like that where they're heating the whole house with a fireplace but it got warmer that day than expected and it's... unpleasant lol.
I was so sad when I realized going up the lighthouse wasn't going to be possible 😭 The whole curved walls/fences system is kinda terrible. I hope Sims 5 improves on that!

@@RoxxySims Yeah, the cosy days are coming! After a spell of foggy autumn weather, we're now back to relatively sunny, warm days. I'm undecided whether I should miss the craving of a blanket and hot cocoa while the world is grey, wet, and cold outside, or be glad I don't have to ride my bike through needles of piercingly cold rain to get to school before the sun comes up in the morning ... 😅
I'm definitely not looking forward to ice and snow; last year, I made closer acquaintance with the icy asphalt twice and almost ruined my bike (and my knee and elbow).
I'm also starting to miss the ocean. I loved standing by the coast in stormy weather, just watching how the waves crashed into the rocks and cliffs. It's such a powerful and humbling experience. And coming home wet and freezing, then taking a bath and drinking warm tea, wrapped in a blanket, snuggling up to someone I love ... There's nothing that makes me feel safer. 😊
I'm fine, thanks for asking! I'm just learning not to get so stressed from work by just being thrown into stressful situations day after day, and managing all of them somehow. 😎 I hope you're slowly recovering, too, and cutting yourself some slack!

I can see your conundrum about whether you want the cold or not, I would feel the same if I rode a bicycle to work. I unfortunately live much too far away from work to ride one. Cars are necessary in so much of the United States. But the rain and cold does interfere with my hiking so I understand a bit. I'll be happiest if we stay in the 60-40 degree range for a while! (15.5 - 4.4 Celsius for you... I looked it up 😄)

Right? I think it'll be great as long as the multi player doesn't take up too much of their budget or time. But I'm definitely going to worry about it. I hope it goes well 🤞

The sims live stream was actuality really good, and the babies omg 2 new eps 2 new worlds, have you seen the screen shot of the worlds art and the babies clip new good stuff for babies amazing! If I’m being honest I don’t want the sims 5 I love sims 4😅
