- Today seemed like a good day to put down my own guitars and pick up one I didn't actually build (still modded though). Love me some `90s Washburns.
It also seemed like a fine day for another Coroner track, "Sirens". A late favorite of mine from their Mental Vortex album. Very tricky to play in places!
My apologies to Tommy Vetterli for botching his phenomenally engaging and clever lead on this track. I shall prostrate myself and beg forgiveness as I was not even worthy to attempt it!
Really though, listen to Coroner!
Vetterli has, since the 80's, and still is my favorite metal player to this day. His tone and complex progressions and timing are still unmatched to this day. Job well done sir!!
Tommy is without a doubt one of my all-time favorite guitarists and one of my biggest musical influences. Tackling anything Coroner is always a humbling endeavor. Thank you for your kindness!

Im a drummer but I think guitar is harder on this title . GREAT JOB !

Im not really a metal drummer, i m a rock and southern rock drummer style but I like some bands as coroner, annihilator etc.... @@YeOldeThrashDude
You know, you still appreciate it on a functional level and I can appreciate that.
By the same token, I play more than metal and though I don't play country, guys like Roy Clark and Glen Campbell are high on my list of excellent players. Glen is even the first guitarist I ever saw doing 6-string sweep arpeggios... and on acoustic, no less.@@StephaneBridenne
