I'm 45 years old. $14,500, and I'm retired. This video has inspired me greatly in many ways that I remember my past of how I struggled with many things in life to be where I am today!!!!
Yes! Our Walmart here in Saskatchewan no longer supplies whole grain pasta either and has also cut back a lot of their organic grocery options. Disappointing! We spend similar amounts on groceries per month as well, but this year I plan to keep better track!! Crazy that food expenses now exceeds many mortgage monthly payments! 🤯
In 2024, my grocery budget was $650/mth for a family of 3. I was overspent by approx $750 for the entire year. I'm in Canada as well, in MB. I shop at Superstore most of the time. I will buy sale items from Sobey's and Co-op on occasion and Costco maybe every 2 months. For 2025, I've increased the budget to $700/mth. Household items, toiletries, pet supplies and vitamins have always been separate categories for us. I bought the whole wheat pasta, too. But my stock up was an actual stock up... 24 spaghetti, 16 rotini, and 8 penne. I'll be good for quite a while. 😂 Pork tenderloin is next!
Hope you have a blessed day today I'm sitting here doing my chemo treatment for today praying don't get sick or loose my beautiful long hair please pray for me too ❤
I don’t budget household and groceries seperate as I get them at the same time. Family of 4 plus 3 pets. Located in southern Indiana. And I try to keep to a $1000 a month budget for groceries and household.
I always buy the same sale items as you haha! Pork tenderloin is a fave here too, I brush with bbq sauce and then bake. For our family of 6 I spent $11,551.15. My budget was $1000 a month. We’re in BC.
I am so impressed! My budget always goes haywire because of Costco. My goal this year is to be more intentional and use a calculator when I shop there.
Things can get out of hand at Costco 🤦🏼♀️ We only go every couple of months, so we do a large haul there, but I do my best to stick to my list, and then the other grocery trips that month are quite small, so it balances out.
wow you did good im in Ontario and shop at walmart and no frills and for a family of 5 its over $200 -$300 a week for us and i buy no name and walmart brand sales etc haha
mind you our paper products and cleaning things are in that number as well toilet Kleenex paper towels plus etc because i do groccery pick up from walmart
We live in Idaho. Family of 4 and I spend $700 a month. With that said I have 3 of us still at home and my daughter is in college. Her sorority has a chef 5 days a week so I buy her groceries for the weekends and snacks which is included in my $700. My budget doesn’t include any beef, lamb, or pork as we raise beef and lamb/pork we support a 4H/FFA kiddo and buy their project from the county fair auction.
Great haul! I think you call the store and complain to get a refund of the bananas. Life happens. The guy could be nicer. We are a family of 5 in CA and spend about 1500 a month.

I think you did great. We spent$804 a month as a family of four in the USA.
Seeing that number is WILD! Probably what I spend too, but $15,000 that is outrageous!
Well done!!!! Your grocery videos are my favorite😊

I spend about $450/month US for everything including nonfood for my family of 5. I know prices are higher in Canada.

I feel you on the "stock up" on tomato products. 😂😂😂. We easily go through 10-15 cans a month. 😂

That sounds like such a neat option, with the county fair auction!
@@mamatofive1it is!! My kids show beef and sell at the auction. Amazing learning opportunities and responsibility!!
Do u do a large grocery order like this once a month or twice?
I shop weekly…this haul was a little bigger than some, but it just depends on what I need each week, what is on sale, etc!
Great haul! I think you call the store and complain to get a refund of the bananas. Life happens. The guy could be nicer.

If it was unusable produce, I absolutely would…we can still use all these in smoothies, so I just let it go!
