    Hi ! I don't think you're going to answer because the video is from a very long time ago but I think your creation could be good for my first foam creation... I have lots of questions to ask you.
    1-Does just a strong ZAP CA glue offered on your site work? Or do you also need your cement?
    2-What product do you use with your paints? What is it for? Can we replace it with something else?
    3-Do I need a special paint or can I use normal paints?
    4-and to make the rope on the handle can you use 5mm foam instead of 2mm or is that too much?
    5-what can you replace your big sander and your Dremel with?
    I know there are questions that the video answers but I didn't really understand that's why. Sorry.
    Otherwise, congratulations for your work, you have real talent!❤😁

      any super glue can usually work but test them out before you do a full project.
      you need to seal the foam before paint with plasti dip, flexbond, or creature cast
      heavy body acrylics doesn't matter the brand don't use cheap paint
      5mm is probably going to be to thick
      you need a rotary tool to work with foam they are cheap now a day
      go watch this video to answer most of your other questions th-cam.com/video/jXqk5dNkPiA/w-d-xo.html

    • @Kartorian
      @Kartorian 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SKSProps That would be cool. There's always plenty of weird tricks I've seen people do to give their weapon some extra fancieness. Like adding sheet lead to weight the handle or making an impromptu core for an axe by wrapping a small piece in kevlar tape so it doesn't rip off if you try to hook shields.
      Who knows. If you do some latp specific videos maybe the US will start to move away from buffers and pool noodles.

    Steve I got a question does the ax head flap around and would it be safe to say hit things with it, not hard of course?

    • @SKSProps
      @SKSProps  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The axe head remains pretty rigid and you could hit something and it should be fine. Again the higher the density of the foam the more likely it is to stand up to wear and tear

    • @SKSProps

      thanks so much, also during the shaping step would only a knife work, or do I also need rotary tools? I know you said I don’t need a sander but I wasn’t sure if I could only use a knife or not

    • @SKSProps
      @SKSProps  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ToasterInaFridge you can use a knife to get the rough shape. But if you’re going to be doing more foam work invest in a rotary tool. They aren’t very expensive check out the review I did on the Wen version a while back
