    Thank you for showing the progression. I’m so tired of propagation videos that don’t show the results. I know it’s more of a commitment to document the whole journey but it is appreciated.

    I use the butterfly method to propagate soooo many string of hearts and string of arrows nodes/leaves..but I get the cheap 8 for a dollar clear plastic shower caps at the dollar tree and pop them on the top of my pots put them under lights and mine are now sooo full and growing huge leaves. It totally works! Good job. :-)

    You definitely have some patience there. I opened mine every day at the beginning because I was afraid of mold and to also mist it. I'm going to try to keep mine in the bag and not open it for at least a week. I noticed in some pots, I had a lot of leaves rot (mostly the all white leaves).

    • @ErikaLodes
      @ErikaLodes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Trust me if it needed to be watered often I would have forgotten & they would be dead lol, so it’s not patience 😅 try not to mist them, that’s probably what’s causing the leaves to rot. You’re a very attentive plant mama 💚

    I find that variegated string of heart is harder to care for then the normal kind. They can rot and get squishy really easily. I've tried to propergate many times but not many success. The plastic zip lock bag helped alot ! And had alot of new growth but then eventually rot.
