Fairy tales or folk tales are a form of local culture and wisdom passed down from ancestors from generation to generation, as well as objects for the advancement of Indonesian culture in the ORAL TRADITION category. In the Dayak Bahau tribal community, fairy tales called Teknaq are something that is very familiar in everyday life, both among children and older people, because at every stage of the generation it is always created especially with action as a bedtime story at night, which where a grandfather or father will take his child or grandchild to dreamland with a fairy tale.
My first fairy tale / story is entitled "TEPAQ PARE HUSUN DIAN"... in general, this story reflects the social life of both individuals and groups of Dayak people in their daily lives.... there are ridiculous behaviors that are carried out which ultimately make it difficult for themselves and other people due to limited human resources in the past due to being isolated and far from the realm of formal education, only nature and the surrounding environment educate and forge towards maturity but are full of limitations. A positive message can also be learned from this story, namely, don't do something that we don't fully know, and if you don't know, ask until you understand.
SORRY if there are words, or translations that are not quite right and do not comply with good and correct Indonesian grammar, this is because the translation from the Dayak Bahau Busang language to Indonesian creates differences in dialect and understanding, where the Bahau language when translated into The meaning of Indonesian is weak in representing the intent and purpose of an event, unlike the intent and understanding that is always achieved when using the regional language, namely Bahau Busang.
