Hi guys! Today's build is a modern family home with a green house! I had a lot of fun building this house and it might be one of my all time favorites! It has three beds and two bathrooms. Thanks for watching!

I have a few suggestions if you'd like some suggestions for more teen personalities:
+moody photographer
+rockstar wannabe
+urban artists (graffiti and bright colors)
+northern surfer girl (a surfer girl but instead of tropical ocean vibes, northern coastline ocean vibes)
+soccer girl
+ romantic bookworm
+ aspiring astronomer
+popular cheerleader
+academic achiever
+ future career inspired (doctor, florist, vet, cop, etc.)
Color palette ideas:
+yellows and oranges
+lilac and green
+clean and white
+gothic
+moody (greys, greens, browns, and blues)
+black and red
These are just a few ideas of some teen rooms, they're pretty general but they're more to get the blood flowing for ideas than anything else.

I’m not much of a builder but I do LOVE experimenting with different styles, ESPECIALLY teen bedrooms. I thought I’d share a bit of the experimentation.
Another thing I do is I base things off of a combination of two traits.

I LOVE the idea of just throwing the curtains shut and soaking in a relaxing cozy nook. Perfect idea!
Such a lovely home, Dawn! I swear, your building game lately is 11/10.
In regards to your laundry basket question: from a convenience standpoint, I really like there to be as few laundry baskets in a house as possible. It does mean that the few end up filling up faster, BUT having to keep up with laundry from several baskets usually makes me want to rage quit laundry. 😂 Just one person's opinion though.

This is perfect for my sim June Larkson who is a gardener and is obsessed with flowers, had a daughter when she was a teenager who is called Eden. She has a new boyfriend and they want another child. This is totally her style. Can't wait to download it❤️❤️

I love this house! It's absolutely stunning! I love those open skylights that you added and how open, bright and airy the whole house feels!
Hey!!! Soooo, I've noticed that you tend to build a lot of family homes, and they are all gorgeous, but could I challenge you to build a home (not apartment) to either a single sim, or maybe a young couple with no kids, or even a single parent sim? I tend to play with only one or two sims and family homes end up being way too big. Anyway, loved your build as always!

I love this house!! I usually like the bigger homes and that’s usually what I build but this one is so cute!
I really appreciate your builds! I love how you take the time to perfect them and player test them. If you notice a mistake you fix it before you upload it to the gallery. I think a lot of content creators rush to get builds out and it really stinks when you download a build and it’s not playable or something isn’t right. So, thank you!!
Usually, I get bored watching speed builds. And when I get houses off of the gallery, I refurnish the whole house because, I don't like their interior taste. But with you I LOVE!!!!! I love how you make your houses. Not old fashioned but not to modern, just right! You inspire me to build and go out of my confertzone. I also feel like me and you have similer taste in interior disigining. And I think its nice how you make up a story for the family or Sims that live in the house. Although, I do have a sugustion, can you make ethier make a base game friendly house. (Beacuse I don't have any packs) Or a newly wed house for like newly weds who don't have enough money to buy a family home but enough to buy a like cape cod house. Ya know? Anyways, I love your builds and I hope you see this! Love you!!!!

Gorgeous build! I love it!!! The ivy plants are called Bougainvillea. We use them a lot here in Southern CA in yards. They are great and so rich in color. I had them on a fence and could see them out of my master bedroom windows. Love them..but they do have thorns..ouch!

Would love more vacation spots, like a spot thats always snowing winter thing.
A always sunny place, like a beach spot.
Also would love the kids to have some activities after school, like sports.

you killed it!! it looks amazing. i just downloaded this for one of my current households, it fits the family perfectly and they just had twin boys 😆 YAY!!! 🤗 btw: i usually keep laundry hampers in each of the bathrooms.

I like putting fake hampers in the bedrooms for realism and real hampers in the laundry room so my sim doesn’t have to go all over the house to collect the laundry.

When you called the plant "ivy" and said you weren't sure if it was called that, I was like, "Hmm, it's probably a Bougainvillea." So when you placed it, I stopped the video to check the description, and I WAS RIGHT. Finally, being the child of two green thumbs serves a purpose! I also love that you did the "open skylight" thing cyberdoll does. You're right, she's awesomesauce, and it looks lovely in your build!

I've never ever thought to use those stone columns. I always use those white ones from Get Together or those Seasons columns. Or basegame. Now I really want to use them!

I think it needs to be said, I just love how professional and likable you are in your videos. You sorta remind me of Vixella. Just super cheery, and positive. Which is so refreshing these days. For me it depends on the size of the house how many hempers I’ll add. If I have a really big one I just add 1-3 in a central area( or like where the washing machine is), other wise I’ll add them in every single room.
I love this and it’s perfect for the family I’m playing with 😁

I'm from Ireland and we don't use water balloons that often but we definitely use them during the summer just our summers arent too warm but we had a heatwave for weeks last summer so we definitely need them then

Once again, hi I am obsessed with you. How do the open skylights work with the weather? I love the idea I just feel like in winter it would snow inside of it and make the house cold. Obviously you could “close” them but I’d forget 😂😂

I'd add the computer desk beneath the second skylight because computers are really common nowadays and many families have, at least, one of them. Of course, I wouldn't know if it'd work or not, but that's just a little idea of my own :3

You often mention that you use Pinerest to help you get inspiration for homes - could you tell me some examples of search terms you use in Pinterest in order to get some good build inspiration images please?

I would put the computer desk in the other area where you have the glass roof open (like where the bath tub is) also would a walk in closet fit in the area across from the master bedroom door that is under a roof?
