Yes, the Dichondra and Viola are both very soft underfoot. Steer clear of the Grevilleas unless you choose a softer variety, however these plants can cause contact dermatitis for some individuals and don't really appreciate being trod on. Hope this helps!
Hi jane have got a garden in full sun with a swimming pool in the same area. It gets really quite warm i need plants and ground covers that will survive the heat during the day.
@@mrbrown3546 thanks, I live in the Dandenong rangers… this looks like it could be a specific nursery/garden so was wanting a little more info so when lockdown is done one day I can go for a visit.
I have that boobialla in a few places, it's perfect, looks great, but I have them around borders, not game to have too much ground cover due to snakes
Huge fan of the dichondra and native juniper. Great segment, thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Perfect! No more mowing lawns; I’m going shopping!
Have fun! Let us know what plants you choose.
Beautifully presented and such great flowers
Thank you for watching!
I want to rip the grass out in my front yard and replace with native ground covers!
I removed my front lawn a year ago and now the entire front yard is agarden. I love it.
Mow it mulch ~ then seed with compost soil
Can i know what was the plant at the end with bulbous type flowers ?
If they responded to comments. I would make a good one but I'll just say I needed this cool
Glad it was helpful - thanks for watching!
😂 agreed
This might be a long shot but are any of these play-appropriate? For kids to run around on?

I live in the dry tropics, off the mid-Qld coast. Which would do well in this tough area?

Hi, I have the same issue. Did you find a solution?
You could try native grasses, give it a Google. Good time to seed atm
Love it
Are some of these suitable for planting in hanging baskets? Just a thought....
I would imagine a lot of them are. What would be stopping them?
Where was this filmed?
At the start it shows where it was filmed

@@mrmctaggart7447 yeah nah it was karunga
These were very obvious choices… disappointing if you have known them for decades… how about some new varieties this isn’t the 70s 😬☺️
This will be helpful for some, not everyone will know of all of these.
😒
What are some they didn't include? I'm' curious
