Hands down the best on the album, the guitar in the intro gives me As I Lay Dying vibes. Easily the most melodic song from this album. Pure fire !!! 🔥🔥

A lot of people thought this album wasn't going to be that great all because of the first few tracks released. I always say never judge an album based on the singles. Half of the time they're not even the best songs on the album. They can be hit or miss. Give a listen to the whole project. FFAK always delivers.

Yup, the melody is inexplicable, the rest is kind of like FFDP music-wise, and vocals are a 3rd genre altogether, I can't remember when I was this pumped in 22 years of listening to metal.

Such a strong way to start out the album. I keep going back to the intro to hear that scream again. The main guitar riff is truly a blessing too.
Adding the former guitarist from phinehas gives this album / entire band a whole new dynamic. This is hands down the best written album musically. Well done boys. Can't wait to spin the pit with you sometime hopefully soon. 🤘🤘🤘🤘

I went to see ice nine kills and got for a king was there, this was my first time ever hearing them. Even though Ice nine kills was the main event fit for a king definitely stole the show and ever since then I haven’t been able to stop listening to them
Same for me. Saw them in Tampa with INK, and they quickly became a favorite. Had to get their hoodie at the show too even though it was our first time hearing them.
They were the first band to get me hyped enough to crowd surf 😂😂😂 so #respect

Lowkey has some Stryper-Esque feells with the guitar riffs. Almost feels like power metal

Fit for a king never let down. They wont change their style unlike some bands well most bands do. Chsnge their style to connect with more listeners. But to me as a musician you play what you feel. And stay true the the music that truly moves you. These guys haven't put a bad song out yet. Cant wait to see em live! Hopefully the over lords of humanity stop with the scamdemic and bring life back to this world

Ok, so let me put here some of my opinion.
There are definitely vibes of previous album here.
FFAK was always TOP tier band for me. I think I listened to them since their second album.
This album is good. But you know FFAK is not kind of band that writes good albums. They write AWESOME BANGERS. The ones that will not let you sleep for two-three nights.
This album is good.
But you know, there is no face ripping, skin shredding, teeth crushing breakdowns in most unexpected moments. Remember their song Slave To Nothing? That was FFAK in their core!
The only song that gave me FFAK vibes was Vandetta.
As Jake Luhrs said: 'They are going to Mainstreemland'.
But still, this album is good=((
Kind of same thought here, at first listen, I actually get backbreaker feeling in every song. Those structures are so alike to me. Still a good album though.
Yeah, not a fan of this album. It is so below par for them.
Just to add some opinions here, I always focus musically on one song, so I would come up with thoughts like this, but maybe lyrically, there is really something more to it.

EDIT: I’ve listened to it more and I agree with yall. Deathgrip has always been my fav FFAK album since it dropped. Followed by Dark Skies then Creation/Destruction. The more I listen, the more generic it sounds tbh. Prophet, Stockholm and Louder Voice are the only ones I come back to on a regular basis now.

Yeah. No chance. Deathgrip and Dark Skies are both WAY better than this. Creation/Destruction is as well. I give it the 4 spot

@@KevinQ25 I personally think Deathgrip was better than Dark Skies only cuz Deathgrip had no songs that i disliked. I wasnt a fan of Anthem of the Defeated and Debts of the Soul was good but not as good as songs on Deathgrip.
