Hahah that's true :D I would say mine is probably on-par with some small businesses but definitely a lot more that I can add :) The rack isn't full yet haha
Hahaha yeaaaa I knowww :D I've been procrastinating actually making it look half decent for so long :D Finally had some time over the holiday yesterday! Now to find the motivation to clean my room :D
love the dell servers and wish i can have one myself in the future. Main issue I have with them is the depth. I have my own server rack myself but only for the short depth network equipments.
They're great especially for getting started with a homelab because there's a lot of refurbished ones out there from like companies decommissioning their hardware so you're not spending lots of money for new hardware. I've been loving my minisforum though and will probably keep most of my stuff on those and not run my dell poweredges unless I need all that power :D But yeah you definitely want a full length rack if you get a dell poweredge server. When I first started with my Dell PowerEdge R710 it would just lay everywhere because I had no rack, after getting the rack it just made a lot more sense so would highly recommending getting a full length rack before getting a dell poweredge :) unless you like to DIY into a coffee table or something :D
Can it really be a homelab if its not a cable jungle somewhere? I don't know how many hours I've spent making it look nice only to mess it up when adding new kit.
Hahah that is sooo true :D Maybe once I get to the point of never needing to add new hardware it can start looking good, but let's be honest, there's always some sort of new hardware to add :D
Currently with what I have powered on it's about 200W. But if I were to power on any of my Dell PowerEdges those themselves would easily be powering at 200-300W :D Hence why I'm switching to the minisforum to save on electricity cost and only power on my PowerEdges when I need lots of power :)
Oh noo :D I think the setting on my DJI mic only picked up the left side :D That's awkward... haha I use speakers for the editing so didn't even realize that it only was recording from one side :D Well hopefully you still enjoyed the video!
It's funny how some people's homelab outscales that of a lot of small businesses xD

How much watts does it pull from the wall? 1000W?

I have similar APC which draws 50W even though there's no load and batteries are full. Maybe you can check that.
Hmm that's interesting, sounds like you may need to do a calibration test, check this out: www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA284198/
Bro You scared me, I think my headphones get damaged, only left side audible right side audio completely silent
