Around the time Sarah was talking about, (movie is gonna come out soon) my sister, around college age as well, worked at Hot Topic. She didn’t meet Robert and Kristen but she met people from bands in that era, ex. Jimmy Eat World. Anyway, she had damn near every item from the Hot Topic/Twilight merch line, including the green Bella jacket. Growing up, I wanted that jacket more than I wanted to even grow up. Finally at like 16, my sister gave me that jacket and I hardly wore it so I didn’t mess it up. I’m 22 now and about a year ago I gave that jacket to one of my best friends who had an extremely unhealthy relationship with Twilight and I loooved this friend so it meant a lot to me that I was giving her that and I expressed that to her. Tell me why not even a week later she’s posting a damn “fit check” for her 40 Snapchat friends and says “some girl gave me this twilight jacket”…. I never said anything but soon after we had an extreme fall out that was incredibly confusing to me. All in all, don’t give people items that mean things to you, girls are mean, I miss my jacket.
I blame Twilight for teaching millenial guys that girls want to be controlled and babied and never taken at their word and I still loved every moment of this conversation lol
