Looks like they have replaced this tunnel with a tunnel for oversized vehicles. If you could sometime come back and check this out that would be great!
You all might be surprised with the present changes of this tunnel. I believe two of the old Premier dryers were kept, but the Protovest unit is gone. There are now three rare red unknown dryers. Wraps and mitter remain, but machinery was elevated for the oversized vehicles.
That dryer setup is very neat. Odd that they took out the top bags and kept the side bags on the Protovest, while new cannon blowers were added up top.
They were taken out for maintenance reasons. The old style ProtoVest top bags are more often maintenance headaches for owners because the sensors used to lower/raise the bags off the vehicle surface need to be serviced or replaced frequently.
@@FloridasExpressCarWashes Very interesting, my local washes that were full service at one point all locations had Provest 90T setups and they all got ripped out but I can tell that the sensors tend to fail a lot but that’s a common thing for those dryers. I’d prefer them over any modern Sunny’s blower since there great with stripping water of the body of the car.
@@FloridasExpressCarWashes Yeah, when I went on my Texas trip a long time back, one of the car washes had that Protovest dryer system, just with the elephant-ear sides instead. The top tight bag was knocking onto the windshield of the car. I totally get it and agree. Looks like the side bags don't need sensors which is why they are still there to keep good side-dryer quality.
