    The non auto kamado runs so smooth I can't imagine needing one of those.

    Looking good Rob. I did my first cook on my Auto Kamato today and I am very impressed with the operation of this cooker. Nice bones 😎

    Hi Rob
    Problem I have akorn kamado original one I put a digit dx2 on it and it’s overshooting temp set , never had this problem and ideas. Saving get new auto kamado

    I'm with you Rob with liking baby backs more than the other pork ribs. To me, it's a sweeter tasting rib. They looked good cooked on that auto kamado. Probably going to pick one up by the end of the summer. Thanks!

    Hey Rob, i'm thinking about picking one of these up since I think they look amazing and everyone seems to love them. I can't seem to find out what the lowest temp is that they run at, would this work for smoking cheese and such or is the low end temp too high? Thanks for the great videos!

    Not much of a smoke ring on those. I assume that is because it cooks so efficiently that there isn't enough smoke rolling through to make the ring. Perhaps if you use more wood it might be more present. Anyway, is there much of a smoke flavor? Thank you.

      I have an Auto Kamado and the lack of smoke flavor is my only complaint. I have used lump, briquettes, both with wood chunks, tried soaked and dry, nothing really works to improve the smoke flavor. I now have gone back to my 980 for smoking and use this for higher heat things that don’t need to be smoked.
