I opened another tab, and watched the song on TH-cam and played along with it until I had it down. It never even occurred to me that I would ever learn this song. Thank you, Marty. You know what, I'd never thought of trying to learn this song until I recently heard it on the radio; then i saw it on TH-cam and Marty, this lesson is brilliant and I love the change of key in the song. Honestly, Marty, I sometimes find your tutorials beyond me but, whether it's that I'm getting more confident or I'm improving, but I totally got this and love the way you can 'let rip' a little at the change of key! Thank you, Marty!

If I could go into music theory nerdland, I think the transition from the IV maj 7 seven to iv minor is brilliant. It is just a little bit of tension. Also, the thing about SOS by ABBA bridge and this song is the use of all major chords separated by a step and a half (SOS) and that interval plus whole steps (IITS). It really drives the bridge upward with a lot of positive energy--no chromaticism.
This helps it make a lot more sense to me than any time I've ever tried playing this before. Thank you Marty❣️It also helps to know I'm not losing my mind and Dolly's part is, that much higher. 😁

So basically, in the starting i did not notice that mic.. so from mic to big speaker and then that sound to camera.. is it.. no wonder ur sound is crisp and clear.. every pronunciation is clear.. gr8..

Maybe I'll record myself playing this song and add it to the credits. Also, my wife says she likes your hat.
