Leagues better than " mistake gundam breaker " or as most people call it "new breaker" I played it for about 6 hours so far I got on this am and it was back up after lastnights 5 hour test .... the game is fast fun and smooth , you can dual wield ranged and melee with various combos and charge attacks . I may have broken into the top 300 players on the world leaderboard but game was forced to close at the end of that mission so idk I was at like 315 ranked . You get ranked higher by posting better scores with quicker times across all difficulties on quests in the beta . This is a clear successor of breaker 3 the op 6 tube missile stacking in same spot and being able to link fire all 8 of the 6 tube missiles at the same time is proof of that alone lol it's my version of a ultimate breaker . I did not get a single error during the test I ran it on full visuals on my 4k tv and experienced absolutely no frame rate drop at all .... the AI are as dumb as ever but it's a sd Ai so I didn't expect him to do anything other than distract one or two enemies all mission long . The beta doesn't have shop or leveling up of parts or weapons but most of what made breaker 3 amazing is apparently in breaker 4 so I am very happy I pre-ordered this immediately. This would of been the only title that could get me to pre-order and I am not dissatisfied with my time on the beta alone . I have a ton of understanding of why I love these games ( no new sucked screw mistake gundam breaker that is the step child that was obviously adopted of this franchise ) . Breaker 4 seems to have not only everything I wanted from 3 but they have also introduced clans larger friend lobbies ( up to 24 in beta ) and by far this beta has impressed me more than even the first descendant game . I can guarantee our gbo2 clan will be on GB4 in force ... honestly I can't wait and as a veteran gamer at the age of 42yo this is why I game , this feeling of fun , excitement and joy when the game is made to be fun and is made better because you can involve all your buddies and simply nerd the hell out on builds , strats , colors and just laughs. I haven't given a game since Armored Core For Answer a rating over 7.5 out of 10 but this one just might 8 or even 9 out of 10 by the time of release as far as my opinion goes that is . This game franchise will never have top tier graphics and not many of us fans give a rats ass about the graphics , the game is fast and smooth and more about fantasy kit bashing that doesnt completely drain all of our bank accounts ..... and then smashing others with the freak of nature we made lol . This game betas that i played so far did not have a single error i didnt see frame rate drops nor any bugs so for a beta it has done what no other title has done for me in over 15 to 20 damn years .... betas have become a crap experience dye to overreaching underachieving greedy developers and already this game has broken that mold ( abour damn time SOMEONE did .... shocking Bandai was involved tho lol )
