Flaps on the rear of the battery box and right step does wonders to keep the road grit off the fuel tanks. 1/2" thick conveyor belt, cut as desired , works like a charm.
You changing the game steve. Keep up the hard work and keep those videos coming in. You impact a lot of drivers and also new drivers like myself as well. I will one day purchase a nice peterbilt perhaps from you. Keep it up!
You get some beautiful trucks! Ever done any with painted tanks grills and headlights, mabe the drop visor? Wish we could get such a nice setup in Canada with a larger wheelbase.
Man beautiful truck , i use to drive a 1962 b model mack with a 5x4 quad box and it was not a pleasant truck to drive NO AIR RIDE SEAT . This truck is really nice and the color WOW it looks like it's going 75mph parked . Thanks Steve
I'm curious about something I'm autistic and I've loved trucks since I was a little kid I wanted to know about the Alcoa rims are the 10 hold oval shaped holes specific for Peterbilt are they like a Peterbilt design I guess what I'm saying I don't see them on any other make of truck just curious
Steve two questions, 1- which state do I pay the sales tax to, purchasing state or registering state? 2- The FET tax what is the percentage rate and can that tax be rolled into the loan?
Great questions! You pay the state tax to the state you will be registering it in. FET (Federal Excise Tax) is 12% and is included in the price and is always rolled into the loan. If I respond with a price know that FET is included in that price.

Cow mat works just as well and is even cheaper, you can get it in 3/4 too for the rear fenders to keep them straight going down the road.
Agreed, we do plenty of those installs before they leave the shop.
Metallic Sky Blue is my favorite color, but this unit and it's color is sweet too...
Steve I keep looking at your nice Peterbilt I may have to forget the 2014 Volvo. Damn these are nice thanks for sharing your videos.
I take Volvos on trade quite often

What does a truck like this cost?
List price is around 173, it can be purchased in the mid to late 160's
how much ?
what's the up charge for the 3 axle disc brakes?
$1700
Peterbilt Steve $1700 is a drop in the bucket when you're buying a $170k + truck.
I agree
Be a real truck with a older 3406 B in it
I wish too, but stupid emissions
I hear ya guys but Cokes arent a nickel anymore either. It is what it is but at least now its a good reliable product.
True, aftertreatment has come a long way
I thought you said you could do gliders, couldn't you put that cat in it for the guy?
only 2 things i dont like about this truck is the engine make and DEF
At least its nothing major....

They have the floor mounted version that is very popular.
