Amanda: "They're gonna eat people, aren't they?" Yo, un Uruguayo: "Well, of course. That's what you do when you crash in the mountains. It's mandatory."
Rick has always been petty. Remember he threatened to destroy a universe in his battery if they don’t power his car or almost making the devil almost off himself
@ 7:50 - Amanda's turn to the dark side is nearly complete. She revels in Morty's pain instead of having immediate sympathy for Morty, she chuckles with glee. Whereas in the past I feel she would have felt some emotional agony for Morty right off. Amanda - I miss your video's outro. Are you working on or editing a new one?
One of my favourite episodes of all time with one of the darkest executions of an idea. This episode does bring a couple tears to my eyes because of what Morty lost especially since Rick knew he would find it and lose it because of what he built.
Something interesting to note is that this is the second R&M episode to win an Emmy! 😉 As for that girl Morty dated.... she doesn't have a name, as far as I know. Even in one of her appearances outside the show (the mobile game Pocket Mortys), she's simply known as "Morty's Girlfriend". Guess the writers didn't feel up to giving her much of an identity outside the context of this episode, heh. 😅
@@MacGuffinExMachina "ripping off Alive"? LOL!! How do you rip off a real life story? "Alive" was based on a real thing that happened. Anyone can do a re-telling of a real thing that happened. Which is all besides the point since this episode wasn't even about that. It was a side plot of a side plot of a side plot of what the episode was really about. (the vat and Rick's pettiness). "ripped off Alive" LMAO!!! What a clown you are.
That plane sequence actually was based off a movie, which was also based on a real tragedy. The best part about it is that the episode wasn't even originally gonna have that plot point, but they needed something to fill out the rest of the episode, and parodying movies is something Rick and Morty does a lot.

The incident garnered international attention, especially after it was revealed that the survivors had resorted to cannibalism of the deceased passengers. I have a pretty good control on my emotions and don't react to any show strongly, this episode had me literally screaming "noooooo" when Jerry touched the remote and made me jump again near the end, truly why Rick and Morty is one of the best media to be created
I’m finally caught up! Watched all your Rick and Morty reactions and started Avatar the Last Air Bender as well as marvel. Amor y gracias desde la USA ❤
Amazing how an animated tv show can so thoroughly replicate the sensation of deleting a term paper. And glad you got to see EEAAO midway through watching Rick and Morty, each enhances the experience of the other; if you ever get back into the Marvel universe, you'll find the same effect when you get to Phase Four🍿❤

My favorite episode of this season. I felt so bad for Morty 😢 he was finally happy & his father ruined it.

The heist thing was also very petty. He did all that to loose Marty’s enthusiasm for his heist film pitch to Netflix

Rick was talking about the series finale of Futurama it's about a similar device the professor makes.
Wait, I think Rick DID make that helicopter lawn chair! In the Heist episode!
No, that WAS Mo's bar from the Simpsons.
The writers confirmed it after the episode aired.

Hi, It's you!
As good as this episode is I still feel The View From Halfway Down should have got the Emmy.
Favorite episode of the season
At the end of the day, it WAS Morty's fault. You shouldn't feel bad for him on this one.
Can you imagine the Morty girlfriend scene was made because the ep. was going to be short and they needed filler.
