    I just want to suggest maybe donating old glasses and coffee mugs to local fire stations. I am a Fireman's wife and they can use them...even the pink girly ones. Firemen have to pay for and provide their own food and cooking utensils.

We’re having a shed torn down this weekend yay!!! More greenery space for a more beautiful yard! Less clutter! My husband is going crazy with this also! We are both in this clean mode! Oh the wooden section in the pantry drawer makes so much sense, as oppose to hardboard/cardboard boxes or sections. It keeps every thing in it so much in place, because it's sturdy. Anything arranged properly in there truly will be eye candy!!

      Turkey pan rack so the turkey cooks evenly and doesn't sit in drippings. You can baste from that keeping your turkey moist and doing gravy from scratch is easier as nothing is burned on the bottom.

    • @rao433
      @rao433 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Im late but still, if you haven't used it for the last 2 yrs then you don't need it. Also if its less than 10.00 in your currency you may buy it if you really need it. Hope it helps.

    • @femjo

      I like to think that, if buying the 'what if' item is cheap and easily replaced, you can toss it. It's still difficult to toss things though 😅

    • @vc6601
      @vc6601 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I always find with things I’ve ‘decluttered’ that I want them again somewhere down the line. And replacing can be expensive especially if one is on a very tight budget. Plus things are not necessarily able to be replaced; many things seem to be available on a very transient basis.

    Also, did you make your spice drawer divider? It seems so customized to that drawer.

    • @helenanilsson5666
      @helenanilsson5666 5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Well, there are worse places to keep spices. Like directly *above* the stove, which is the norm at least here in Sweden. A really stupid norm, since it means the containers get super greasy and gross, but it was because a lot of kitchens had (and still have) a shallow open cupboard in front of the space where the shaft to the kitchen vent is. Modern kitchens usually have the range hood be a shiny and easily cleaned metal behemoth without storage capacity, which is probably for the best since anything stored above the stove will be disgusting within a week.

    The mugs with metallic features are sometimes so pretty but we've had a couple minor disasters here with them actually when someone didn't realize and stuck it in the microwave!! So as pretty as they are, sticking with the microwavable and dishwasher safe variety is a really practical tip.... I should probably do that as well! Thanks for the cleaning motivation! I keep my containers cabinet pretty neat but the utensils drawers....not the silverware, thats ok....it's ALL the other stuff! And I don't know how but every time I go through it, I somehow feel like I need all the items?! It's crazy LOL

I got it at The Container store they are only $5.99 for the package it’s a Slotted Interlocking Drawer Organizers. I put the pic in the reviews on container stores site it’s the 1st one tamcam. It took a little bit of time to get it put together for my drawer size and different tea sizes but...a game changer 🤗
