    Is it possible to convert many segments into curves together? rather than having to do each one individually

      Yes, you can type "MPEDIT" and select all your objects/polylines. After saying "Yes" to "Convert Lines and Arcs to polylines", you can then click on "Fit" to convert all of your lines into "curves" that simulate arcs. Pressing "Enter" again will finish the command.

    How to enable this hover selection in the grip?

      This is a default setting and is typically turned on. You can confirm this by going to "Options" and clicking on the "Selection" tab. The settings under "Grips" should all be turned on except for "Show grips within blocks" (Which can be turned on). The "Show dynamic grip menu" is the particular setting that enables hovering over a grip's selection box and choosing between different options.

      @@DigitalDraftingSystems I went to ACAD > Options > Selection > Grips and it looks like everything is enabled. I still dont have the options popping up on my screen hovering over the grip as shown in your video. I also tried right clicking.

      @@stadart949 The default settings in AutoCAD should allow you to see the Dynamic Grip Menu when you hover over a grip. What version of AutoCAD are you using? You may want to reset your program to factory settings and test its functionality. You can export your Workspace if you made significant changes to it and import it if resetting doesn't work.

    what if my autocad doesn't have arc options?

      When you say there is no arc option, what do you mean? Is the button missing from a ribbon? If you try the ARC command on the command line, does it work?

    How to convert the polyline to arc with specific arc radius

    • @DigitalDraftingSystems
      @DigitalDraftingSystems  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Once you convert a Polyline into an arc, you have the option of specifying the midpoint of the arc segment. This is the same as specifying the arc's radius relative to the midpoint of the original line, and if you set its angle to 90 degrees, it will be a perpendicular radius. Please see 0:31 for a visualization of these instructions.
